What will you be doing in May?

well, asides from getting married,

i'll be clearing Gophers. as seen here!

which is mad fun and as a farming community, a very good thing no matter what PETA says, lol! ruger 10.22 is the weapon of choice. =)

and pike fishing! beautiful thing is i've got some clients at wollaston lake, so, trips that americans spend thousands of dollars on to catch something that would eat a 'lunker bass' for breakfast... are free *grin*

only pike place i'm envious of is england as they have the biggest, but we have the most ;)

and that's pretty much my plan for May. lol, a week prior to getting hitched, should be catching 3 foot+ long pike.

that and some guildwars of course hehe.

Well, In May I am going back to Europe, thank God.

I am also going to tavel within the continent to visit some old friends...I other words I am on vacation.
Plenty of sports, parties and fun...oh and some GW as well.

I wont be doing much of anything. on the 16th, it will be my birthday, then on the 19th, my brother in law's birthday. Maybe some mudding and camping..aaaaaannnd....wishing May was June so my sister can have her second child and get it over with :D

Gopher Hunting, never heard of it until now, pretty much overkill with a rifle like that. Splatfest.

I'l be waitin' the coming 2 weeks for Exam results, and until that more or less just patrollin' around until i got some official papers, good thing is that i am already being paid full-time regardless of the fact that nothing's official yet.
I will also start my first car driving lessons in 3 weeks, Good Times, Good Times.

well, i guess you could compare it by scale to a modern military sniper using a .50 cal barret on a fellow human, really same effect, that or someone getting strafed by 20mm.

sniping gophers is mad fun, pretty much all of may is waste gophers, usually bag a good 70-100 a day when i get out. #8 shot, 2 3/4 12 ga. can wipe an entire family of 5 (2 parents and 3 babies) standing on a mound with one massive blast... and that's a splat fest once the dust settles and you go looking for bits bigger than a kernel of corn. lol.

only problem using centerfire or a shotgun is the rest of the 'city' of gophers gets spooked and won't come out for 10-15 minutes, with a .22, you can shoot their friend right next to them, they won't move, then you blast them.

fishing (from canoe/ belly boat flyfishing), camping, biking, baseball, wedding, gopher hunting, all fun things to look forward to!

i use remington yellow jacket hollow points or CSI supershocks, those 2 .22 LR's tend to blow them in half every time, paints pretty pictures in a field. lol.

Im not a fancy carebear of nature, but i will pose the question:

Are there enough around every year? Or aren't there that many people taggin' N' baggin' Gophers? Cause if you collect that much souls everyday i think the bodies will at one point run out right?

Unless they breed like rabbits that is!

well May is a jam packed month for me.

1. finish and leave school forever, so out in to the working world and possable uni next year. (Ps: course work based stubjects FTW! :D no exams :P)

2. go to twickenham to watch the london international rugby 7's.

3. my bro's birthday

4. start learning how to drive

5. start playing in the local touch rugby tournement (to retainour title from last year)

6. sleep! (the most important)

7. and if you haven't guessed i like rugby '^__^', so i will probs start pre season training for senior rugby (gulp)

a workers permit so I can be a janitor for a summer camp at age 14
