READ THIS: goes to all the people on GA

The Topics

Over the past few days I have been witnesing a lot of flaming, going oftopic on topics that need attention.

Most of these topics where going over the Elite Skill Ursan Blessing. Please stop flaming each other for using a normal elite skill. If someone has a question about it anwser it and don't tell the poster that he is a n00b and your leet beacuse u use a "real" build.

The Screenshots

The screenshot where a normal Guild Wars player used Ursan Blessing to clear the Gate of Madness in Hard Mode. This mission is one of the hardest in the game and you guys flame him for using Ursan Blessing. STOP THIS.

If you don't want to use the skill, than don't and be quiet for the rest. Keep it to yourself.

Technically it was about the flaming against people using Ursan Blessing =]

But anyway , the flaming about ursan have
been increasing and its just stupid to flame someone using a Elite skill.

not really, just asking people to stop flaming. its why the "rant and rave" section got taken down all that time ago.

think people need to re-read the "no flaming rule" thread, or just remember this is a site that helps, not one to force your own point of view onto others.

People shouldn't get worked up over things so much, it was still hard doing GoM even with "Ursabway" people think it takes no skill at all but if we had no clue what we were doing we would just rush in and die on the first mod, Ursan may takes less still to play but more strat, as in with a obey tank he just stands there being bonded while you have some people nuke, and whats so wrong with Ursan? its fast, easy, fun imo. people shouldn't make such a huge deal about how other people a game.

I agree.
I don't see why people gotta hate ursan so much. I mean if you don't like it, don't use it. If it's boring, too easy and you need more challenge you can always find a group that runs the old build. As for me, it's powerful and get the job done quick. It saved alot of time. My guild is farming guild so ursan not only help the guild gets richer but everyone can participate. I've read alot of post about people have been farming alot but can't seem to save enough money for FoW armor and such... Well, to clear DoA the old way could take up to 8 hours, and Ursan way only 3 hours. Time = Money, I'm sure everyone knows. So whatever floats your boat... Why complain about how people should play the game?

In the rare situation that a useful topic comes up they're shouldn't be flaming in it, but this forum will be incredibly innactive if you dont allow this mild flaming due to the fact that 99% of the crap is off topic.

if that is really the case then i suggest you pull the curtains back, let some light in your room and do something else for a while. cool off and find some other fun activity to do. no point in getting pissed over a game.

no, the screenshot said that it was done in 19 mins. not that it was just done and a really good time was had by all. for someone to do a HM mission in 19 mins with ursan is not an achievement. i'm sorry, but it isnt. people do that kind of stuff just for fun and drops. not because they think it was a real challenge and they found it difficult.

if you just want to get something done and are in a hurry, go ursan, i'm all for it. but if you want a challenge, go balanced. i managed to clear urgoz the other week in 1hr30mins on HM.... with believe it or not, a balanced team. that was an achievement. if we had of done it ursan, i wouldnt of cared less, because it would basically have just been bashing 3 skills without any real thought.

if people are having a go at ursan, its because they dont think that its hard to clear GoM in 19 mins with ursan. you cant wrap everyone up in cotton wool all the time. thats is exactly what makes players worse and wont let them evolve their game play.

100% agree with the OP just because its fucking ridiculous how many people keep flaming ursan. Idc if you like it or don't, and i doubt anyone else does so keep it inside and hate it all you want. Fact of the matter is ursan has taken over this game, so what, if you don't like it, don't play it. Instead of moaning about it DONT PLAY IT. NO ONE is forcing you to. so go ahead and hate it all you want, just dont make 1000 threads on gameamp about it, cuz when I read gameamp i wanna see other stuff besides ursan this ursan that. ridiculous...

just clearing that up for future misplaced threads, rather than going around deleting off topic posts (which will be a losing battle any way and threatening to temp-ban people for doing people things is just silly), we, as admins should really be working on just organizing these forums properly making sure threads are in the proper spot to begin with.

I have nothing else to say other then i agree with timi.
Flames about UB is getting very annoying and it barely effects us. Please dont waste space by saying how nooby UB is... its annoying and repetitive
