So I finally got my Rit Set up for some VwK farming. I went out and tried out a few places listed in ED's guide. I tried both NM and HM and really wasn't having much luck in HM.
I was using Mesmer 2ndary, same build shown in ED's Guide. I really was not successful in HM. I was wondering if there is variation on the build that works better or if a 55 build works better in HM?

the issue is that this is not a HM farm. Its a farming run for materials, you probably wont have much luck with anything other than a vwk build also, because the creeps will scatter etc.
not sure if there are any other ways to farm that area, any thoughts guys? also an issue with using enchants (like you would with a monk build) is that the Bog Scales use Chilbalism, which will kill your enchants in no time.

I haven't VwK'd in awhile, but the areas I used to do were the Wardens in Arborstone (for mats), the gorillas outside of Yohlon Haven (ranged fighters won't scatter), and I modded a version for my ranger to VwK the stalking nephila outside the sunspear great hall in HM (this was more for getting lucky points while farming for clovers). And of course the UW ecto run.
You could probably VwK the spiders outside of Rilohn Refuge (walk across the stone bridge and about 30 will spawn. Might need to tweak the build a little though...
