3 year anniversary event

i don't know how something like this can happen, but it didn't move all weekend (including yesterday) and i could not take part in the anniversary event. thankfully, uninstalling took 2 seconds :)

well, back to WoW, Call o Duty 4, assassin's creed, and UT3. yes it really does take 4 games now to equal my previous GW addiction. 8-9 more games to be added this week. i have a computer addiction (more than 12 hours/day, 365 days/year).

Read before posting buddies, he says he plays WoW and such, most likely he was downloading updates while playing online with MSN on and browsing, no wonder your bandwidth dies on you.

12 hours a day? So you basicly spend the other 2 hours doing something else and then sleeping? Hell i've been on that path once, im glad that's over.

As for games to keep ya busy, im usually playing a variety of games, not just Guild Wars, i cant imagine someone playing that game through & through all day long with nothing else at all, just the same thing, makes you dull.

got about the same, that's 250 FULL days worth of gameplay, when i typed /age and showed tash that, she just shook her head, i laughed, then put my head down... but yea,

i've done the 8-10 hours per day thing, maybe a few that were over 10 hours and man... after doing that for basically a whole year (the first year GW came out) i thought... damn, i've wasted a lot of good social beer drinking / ping pong opportunites ;)

edit: in regards to the 18kbs... wow, i've had 3 comps at my house running GW (running on Max Quality)/ Vent/ MSN on all 3, IE on 2, limewire on 2 and no lag / load issues whatsoever, then again, i do have the real kick-ass ISP service for my 'home office'... which is a write off, so why not? to make it snappier i just call tech support and tell em to dial down my Digital cable signal and up my interweb more when i'm not planning on watching TV for a while! LOL!

hehe, i still play C&C Red Alert with some of my buddies, LOL... sometimes D2 LoD, Oblivion, Company of Hero's, wolfenstein 3D hah! etc. 'mein leiben!'

31 months when I quited. and around 1800 hours :S, tho the last 1000 where from september 07- februari 08, that was sick IMO.. It was just taking too much of my life.

haha, i've done about 22 months and 2.6k hours i think. but i spend so much time afk :P

i'll put gw on, put my char into the uw and think... meh, i'll go do something else for a while. come back an hour later, kill all the graspings. then go afk for another hour...

i only really play during the weekends, during the week i just afk farm XD. love it!

edit: oh yeah, that also pisses a lot of poeple off when i dont answer their pm's. its not because i cba, its usually because i'm not there.

You have no idea how much that annoys me when it happens(frequently) o_O

For myself I've got 1,5k of gametime spent over 30 months, which I honestly don't think is that bad. I spend roughly the same amount of playing music too, I dislike doing stuff for a short period of time only to come back at it later.

How much time people spend is arbitrary, but I'm guessing the average gamer here on gameamp has got some 1-2k of hours spent over 2+ years probably? That seems fairly average considering the wide aspect of players.

I remember reading somewhere that you spend 6 years of your life just going to the toilet though, so I think I can live with a couple of hours on GW as well...
