| Activating Scroller button |

I am having this anoying mouse problem. On my dads PC, I use Firefox on both pc's, I can click on the scroller button to open a new page(withouth leaving my current page, dunno what it is called in english. Dutch is "Tabbladen")
It works fine at my dad's. I use a logitech.
At my mom's PC I have almost the identical mouse(difference is color) but when I click on the scroll button. I don't open a new "tabblad".
Any ideas to activate it?

Can't help with the mouse, but I know you press ctrl left click (by default anyway) to open up a new "Tab" (It's called tabbed browsing in English =))
HANG ON scrap that possibly I didn't realise Firefox, I was thinking of Tabbed browsing in IE sorry ^^

The word you are looking for is "tab."
Right now I can't think of anything to fix it, but I'll look into it. One of the computer pros here will probably get it before I will, though.

Does it do that by default? Otherwise you might want to look into your mouse settings and set the buttons to do what you want, could be its a non-standard feature for that mouse, but more computer/software related.
Not a mouse expert, but i know most mice come with software, and even if their not Windows/Linux got Configuration options for mouse settings.

Ah know what you mean, i usually use Ctrl+click on a link to open it up in a new tab. As Forumite already said, look for software that is available for your mouse, just search on google the name of your mouse
*note: The name usually is at the bottom, sometimes even with a link to the website with updates*
It should be the software, or else just get used to Ctrl+clicking ;]
