| At a loss here... MOM.exe, the error from hell. |

Well, In a previous thread I mentioned that I was reinstalling XP. Everything is smooth, except for ATI Drivers and Catalyst Control Center, which keeps giving me an error called MOM.exe follow by it telling me it failed to load, causing My Ati Drivers and CCC to not even load when i try to open them. I'm at a loss here i've un installed and reinstalled CCC and ATI Driver at least 50 times and it keeps failing. Does anyone know how i can fix this? It never did this on my old windows installation. Help much appreciated. Thanks.

See if in your C:/Windows directory there are any maps from ATI/Radeon, could be some remnants, i know that Drivers tend to leave a few bits and bytes, often the wrong kind.
And i don't know if you've used Catalyst before, i used it on two PC's before with various ATI cards but it didn't give me anything but problems, especially when stabilizing clocks and such.

Great Inferno's solution is spot on.
MOM.exe is part of the .net framework and you probably didn't have it installed straight away after installing XP. It doesn't come with the default SP1&2 updates, you need to add it separately, but you can do it through the Windows Update service.
