| Looking for some opinions |

Hi everyone. I'm looking into buying a PS3 this summer, probably when MGS4 comes out. But right now I have a PS2 and would like to know of some good games that I should buy for my PS2 before the PS#. Just give me some opinions. thanks!

I'll tell ya what I tell everyone else... PC > console.
Every consumer computer (PC not laptop.) will have graphics cards better then the Wii, and equal to if not better then the 360. The media uses for the computer is 1000x better, most games that are worth playing on the console, will come out on the PC at some point. And a PC you can upgrade over time as it gets outdated for a console, they last 2-3 years then its another $400.
BUY GOOD GAMING PCS!

Even though PC's own consoles.. they're so much more fun to play with if you got friends over. You see yourself playing GW and they're sitting next to you watching? If the answer is yes, you're pathetic and probably won't have any friends left (soon).
On-topic: I'd actualy save up the money and spend the money on games for ur new PS (or be smart and buy an Xbox360 so you can play Halo ;)).

oo please, she already may have a good gaming computer, and some people just like consoles better then computers so please just answer the questions and don't these ****** comments.

don't tell people to go and buy that "90% chance that it will break in 2 years" console... j/k consoles are just a matter of oppinion. everyone likes one better then another, it's a personal oppinion.
on topic: i have some cool title i can recommend you. they are not really new, but here are some:
-kingdom hearts 1 and 2
-final fantasy 13
-shadow of the colossos
-god of war 1 and 2
-dragon quest: the journey of the cursed king
-okami
all these games(exceot god of war 1 and 2) will keep you playing for atleast 50h ea. so i hope it helped a bit. when you want some help with ps3 titles, i know enough of 'm :P(i got one myself!)

If you haven't played any previous MGS games, I'd highly recommend starting with MGS, then MGS2, and ending with MGS3. Probably some of my favorite games on the PS2. Resident Evil 4 also comes to mind, as well as God of War. Heck, maybe even Final Fantasy X (Not X-2 though >.<)

I rly liked the rachet and clank games on ps2 and then u can continue the series on ps3 =)

"Black" and "Killzone" are some fun FPS games to play, Killzone is a 1 or 2 player and pretty fun on the bigger levels...black is a good game, pretty fun to play, a bit more realistic..even the bullets leave dents and such in walls, metal, glass breaks, blow down locked doors with shotguns... Black helped cure boredom for about a month beating all 4 difficulties of the game. Killzone i have yet to beat but so far is pretty fun.
and for racing, if you like ricers and moding cars, i would get juiced, it should be fairly cheap too, all these games are like $19.99...that and i have had fun with "Dark Cloud" and the "Kingdom Hearts" games.

yeah, play final fantasy X, probably can rack up well over 100 hours game play on that bad boy. that will keep you occupied.
hmmm, other games i enjoy on the ps2...
Pro Evo
MGS
Kingdom Hearts
GTA
all these games can probably be bought really cheaply now.
and they all have a good life span.

God of War 1 and 2

Its a really good game, put aside the disney chars etc, and its actually very playable. not sure if its just my taste, but i'm into all sorts of things like that, the final fantasy series have been awesome so far... apart from 12, which sucked balls imo.
and kingdom hearts has ff links in it, and as i said, the game is very playable. i guess its a fantasy game to get younger generations into that sort of thing, and seeing as theyre both made by square enix, although square enix is slowly starting to go down the pan. but its for all ages really.
anyways, theyre both probably about a fiver each now, so well worth the buy.
