For those of you that don't know, you can read up on it here.
So what does everyone think? Unfortunatley, I think this is going to turn into another "I have more money than you" title rather than one based on skill. The emotes are pretty sweet though. To see those you can the Guild Wars page, or just follow the link here.

It most likely will turn into another show-off title. But, I know a few people who wont spend much on keys anymore, counting myself, because ive spent way more than i should have on em already. I had gotten 25 Points from the Tournament thingy so i got 5 free keys. Havent spent anymore money on keys yet

I personally won't be buying keys to get Zrank. But I also won't be selling my keys (at least for awhile). Luckily I had ~75 keys saved up in the form of keys/faction/RP at the time the title came out so I am nearly r2. Regardless, I see this title simply as like the sweet tooth, party animal, or alcohol consumption titles... people will end up buying them out - although to others it is more an added benefit to PvP.

I wasted 10 keys on the chest today and got an elite monk tome and a rubbish sword, so Im now just going to sell any keys I get rather than go for the title.

Of course it's going to be a money title. PvPers make all of their money by abusing PvErs desire for stuff, IE: high ranked guilds go for upwards of 500 ectos. Zaishen Keys 5k each. HOH chest rewards = lots of money. It's the only way to make a ton of money for PvPers.
Meaning that I'm going to sell keys =p
PvPers are the supply, PvErs are the demand for large volumes of keys. So basically, it's finally a reliable source for 'farming' money for PvPers.

it is also a less shady way to make money. i was never a big fan of the guilds that sold invites are champion points. now these guilds have another way to make money that is mainstream and in my book acceptable.

I don't care. It doesn't make a difference. It's just a title. A title that means nothing. There are a ton of titles that mean nothing.
Being UPSET about A TITLE is INSANE.

The way I see it is.. its a title.. Its not forced upon you. You don't "have" to get it. I use the Z-Keys every month with the predictions, so I'll get the title reguardless.
I really don't understand why people are so bent out of shape about it.

i got half my points from the tourney predictions and the other half i traded for ectos. 1 key for 1 ecto.
i'm rank 1 and thats all i want, just so i can go round LA spearing people. and yeah, its just an easy way for pvpers to make money now.

Because they wasted an emote on something which takes no skill to get....what so ever! It's SO simple just farm in PvE and buy buy buy!!
Good thing is I can sell it to all the PvE suckers out there, and make a decent amount of money, bad thing it takes no skill what so ever and it's just another money title as posted.

If I get rank 1 from monthly tournament predictions I might get some nice screen shots of spearing dead hard mode bosses...other than that it's a title track of little consequence for me.

Kanna, its the fact that the only other emote is Hero, so people are upset that a harder title to get - Champion - gets no emote, yet something item-based does. There would be no problem if it was just a title. The issue people have is that emotes should be earned, not bought.

It's all well and fine apart from the fact that no single person can achieve rank 12 in it without some mass donation or underhand gold acquiring tactics from other players.

Exactly. All of "us" PvEers can "farm" all of our gold and just buy the Hero title too.

so?
people who have a high rank zaishen title have either had stacks of keys before hand or were just very rich in gold / reward points+faction.. if for example those people on guru like scooby have tons of money and nothing to spend on as they already have the majority of rare items in the game then why not use the gold to a title that gives both emote + chance for good drops when opening chest?
why do you cry about it, jealous? who cares, nobody is forcing you to buy or use zaishen keys, but many people want be part of the "trend" or want to show off infront of their friends or just simply because they like the emote. ever thought about that?
