This isn't really a spoiler, so I'm posting it here. This was in the release notes for the latest Test Server patch.

Contacts:
o Bastion has received a substantial upgrade to his systems, courtesy of DATA. In honor of his greatly enhanced capabilities, Paragon City's android hero has renamed himself "Citadel."
--------------
The REAL reason for this is that Marvel Comics has a character by the name of Bastion. So to avoid any MORE issues with them, they decided to rename Bastion to Citadel.
Mind you, the Marvel Bastion is not at ALL the same as the CoH Bastion, but it was a decent thing to do anyway. Citadel is a pretty cool name anyway.

well THAT explains it... I saw himn the other day on test and couldn't figure out why they re-named him.. makes sense now. :)

True. He was an Alpha Sentinel from the Operation: Zero Tolerance story arc. Quite possibly one of the WORST story arcs in X-Men history.
But I digress...they weren't forced to change it, they did it out of the goodness of their hearts.

Oh I don't know if it was the WORST story arc in x-men history. I mean, Chuck Austin's entire RUN was some of the most insipid writing in comics history....

Which I thought was amazingly well done. I loved that whole arc. From the point where the government used the nullifier right on up to when she got them back when she and Forge were going against the Adversary in the other dimension.
I absolutely loved her beating Cyclops's pansy ass back in X-Men 199ish.

I wanted his loft apartment...when he flipped that switch and the walls and celing went transparent with the storm raging all around them. Oh man, what a cool place to live...if only I were in that dimension.
So is it just the character that's changed or did they change the TF as well?
