You only had to defrag? I had to buy another hard drive...lol. 30G + 14G install files? Ah well, I won't have that problem again for quite some time...

dang all i keep getting is the authentication message and then it times out again and again. I'm sure there is a ton of people trying to get in though so im not surprised at all

Hmmm. Maybe check your firewall just in case.
It should be slow, but not timing out completely.

Yes, it takes awhile to get thru authentication..if it stalls, just hit cancel and try again..I had better luck that way.
Looks like you get 8 character slots across all servers, not per server. :/ And, I can only see the US servers, so no Bori for me atm I guess... *cries* So, I'm on Dagoth for the moment.
And yes, Lani, there does appear to be the ability to lactate...I investigated purely for scientific reasons of course. ;) The mature flag seems to hold no sway over Mitra or Crom either on this point...

Right, I remember that. It sends out 1 request and will patiently wait for it to time-out rather than try again every 10 seconds as normal MMO's do. You have to cancel and retry on your own.

Ok, I now know the meaning of the word lactate. I didn't before... Just not sure what salts have got to do with AoC.
