I keep hearing about the separation of EU and US players. I don't really know how the separation works, though.
I'd be up for the guild if one formed, but I'm US, and I know a lot of Amper's tend to be Euro, so don't know if/how it would work out for me...

hmm yeah tht is true, but we could have U.S and EU guild, so everyone can get apart but we'll see what happens on the release :D

Sorry, I don't see this happening.
By the looks of it an AMP guild would be 8 US players and 5 EU players. Assuming everyone who posted here gets on board.

Well so far, there is no way to play oceanically. :(
The server list (at least the US version) only displays the US servers. I'm keeping a spot open though, in case they open it up.
I've read that there's an .xml preferences file in the client directory that might be able to be altered to allow the other (US/EU), but not sure what would happen if you tried to create characters on 2 different server farms.

Well, Gwahlur was pegged as the official PVE oceanic Server, and Bloodspire as the official PVP Oceanic. They're hosted in the US but in Funcom's fluffy little dream-world everyone on Bloodspire would be from Oceanic origin and therefore suffering the same amount of lag. In real life it's a high population server due to Yankees wanting to get some gank-fest on and running into each other rather than Aussies :-D
