Apple BULLS**T

So tell me how this works. All of the sudden any song i bought from iTunes store at one time now needs to be authorized for NO REASON at all just to play them, these songs need to be authorized by ME to play on itunes. I forgot my password but not my account name, itunes saved the account name. Funny thing is that account seems to no longer exist.

So um yeah how does that work?

Oh yeah and god know how much money i just lost...

Apple has a password recovery tool called, iForgot. You can look up other information about it here: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/store/password/

It’s basically to protect your account. Although, I don’t mind not having every computer authorized. The songs still play on the ipod without being connected to Itunes.

RE: Apple BULLS**T

Did the recovery, as it kept telling me the account didn't exist i finally saw something like "An email has been sent to this username that appears to be an eMail Address" Something like that, then i got my account back up and a password change.

I don't know why it ever did it anyway.... i got an iPod Nano and a iTunes Store Card as christmas presents way back in Dec 2005... why it did this way later down the line to now makes no sence... But it's all fixed now and Chris is happy again, no longer with burning rage against apple!

Oh yeah i don't like that authorized stuff either, apple are way too protective.

Yeah a buddy at work had one of those, looks very nice, saw a few reviews about it before, it might not enjoy as much popularity (in ads mostly) as the Ipod, but it certainly isn't that bad.

though at the moment i am content with my MP3 player, though i do sometimes secretly wish i had ALL my music on one device.

RE: Apple BULLS**T

you could also try to convert your protected AAC songs to MP3 with a musicconverter
should solve your problem and allows you to play them anywhere you want ^^

Did iSolve iT with this? :P
