Whoohoo! iut bought the game. But now whaT!?!
I bouth AOC including 30days gametime, but when i try to make a account on the AOC-Website
i fill everything in but this is where i get stuck:
The box says 30included! and here i need a prepaid card.. what do need to do ?? someone please help me

Well, they kinda did this to ensure that people will be able to keep paying for the game after the first month is up ya know?
I just used a CC so its no problem here... and I don't think theres a way around it. (If you have a CC and don't want to pay with it, just use it and cancel right before the first month is up, no payment taken.)

Ok, here's the thing.
You need a time-card or a credit card.
Good thing about the credit card is that you can cancel the payment immediately.
I.e. have your dad help you with his CC. Wait 5 minutes, talk a bit about Father-Son stuff if you want, then cancel the sub.
Or, if you play your cards right, you convince him to pay the monthly sub for you.
First CC payment doesn't commence until the 30 days are up. With the Time-card however the minimal amount of play-time you get is 1 month + 1 time-card as you can't withdraw that.

ok same problem with me how i got around is pay by cash used my passport number as a referenece thn when my time card comes change the payment to tht :D

I kinda liked my 'male bonding with dad' approach better. But when that's not an option, yours is a good solution. +cred!

erm massive problems for me though :(
binkw32 mssing when its there, fixed tht then i get point_binkDoFrameAsync@12 could not be located in library binkw32.dll :S

That's odd.
Bink video is used by the game. That should have been included with the installation.
What OS, DX version et al?
Did your installation process nag about diskspace at any time?

nope not once i got directx 10 i think
didn't nag for space ever new pc only month old :(
reinstalling now 3rd time so far gah

Care to upgrade to XP? :-)
Something you might try is installing Bink video codecs for Media player.
Or check the support forums. Yes, Funcom actually has a good reputation when it comes to support, if not launching.
