I was hoping that there was a way for a player to trade from one of his characters to another. I have a low level hero with nearly 2,000,000 influence and wanted to give that influence to my high level. I don't trust anyone enough to let them be a middle man.

There are no ways that im aware of. I have had other players assist me with transfers myself and have never been ripped off. If your in an SG have when of them help you. If you still cant find away let me know what server your on and if I have a toon on that server I'll play middleman if you trust me.

There are three ways.
One is to get a trial account and a second computer. Basically, this is the same as what tk0091 is offering, but you do it yourself with two accounts.
The risky way is to go to Wentworth's and find something that nobody is trading but that you either have or can get. You post one for sale, switch to your other toon and buy it. If you're fast or lucky enough, you'll buy it from your poor toon and the influence is transferred.
The obnoxiously slow way is to buy valuable things that you know you can resell (such as the Halloween costume salvage) and put it in your SG base storage. Your alt can then remove it from storage and sell it.

as he said, this is the riskiest way, as other people may bid on your things and you just end up losing the money. i would just ask in atlas and make sure they have a decent number of months on their vets. usually the longtime players will be open to helping people, whereas noobs will be trying to rip u off trying to get a head start on cash, or think that they can get away with it.

Agreed. The long-time vets will know better than to scam a newbie out of influence. However, uou could always ask for assistance on the Gameamp.com channel, that's how I was able to transfer some much need influence to another character.

Using a partner is definately still the best way. Just find someone you can trust, or create an imaginary partner by using a temp account and a second computer.
If you can't trust yourself, then just give up.

I would recommend going with the suggestion that was offered of asking someone on the Gameamp.com channel to help trade it for you. Most of the people on here are very very trustworthy.
City of Heroes/Villains
Onion - L50 - Katana/Super Reflexes/Body Mastery Scrapper
Scotch Bonnet Girl - L50 - Fire Aura/Fire Melee/Pyre Mastery Tanker
RonJ73 - L50 - Stone/Energy Aura Brute
Aurora Australis - L50 - Willpower/Energy Melee Tanker

You bought someone else's item?
Ouch :-(
maybe some vets on the gameamp.com are willing to give a small donation.
One major reason vets are less liable to rip you off in the partner schemes suggested is that whatever your relatively new toons might have, it's pocket change to what their characters accumulated over the years. and as Ron said, most folks on gameamp.com are (kept) honest (by the rest of us) :-)

Plus for most vets, 2 million is pocket change. I can make that much off one good mission in PI.

Oh, while you're there...
Could you chek on that foul and mysterious odour emanating from under my bed?
I think it's either a stale mouse or a decomposing pizza.
