HA Fun Run Sign-ups.
To bring the GA community a bit closer together, I thought it would be fun to organise some HA teams for this Sunday at 19:00 GMT.
There are only 2 requirements:
- Ventrillo/Teamspeak (depends on where I can get the server from), a mic would be a bonus as well.
- The ability to not rage if we lose, this is about having fun
We will playing preferably balanced builds, and avoid gimmicks (sway and the like). So I need you all to post here your IGN, and your preffered roles. Once we get enough people for at least one team, I will edit this post with the current team arrangements.
If this event is successful, I will organise them more often. If people cant come but post saying their interested, this will also be taken in to account in whether I organise it again.
Looking forward to getting some fame with you all

Im interested, just never really gotten to PvP yet but have wanted to a few times, any prof can do, prefferred war,ele,monk but just give me a heads up before hand so i can get any skills unlocked that i need, should be available this sunday though

Good idea!
I'd like to join when I have time.
I'd like to play Necromancer, paragon or assassin.
I have prophecies, factions and nightfall. So I dont have GW:EN...
I hope there are enough people willing to participate!
EDIT:
I never got into PvP too, but this might get me into it.
and I can unlock any skills if that is needed, only no GW:EN skills.

Nice idea Sam. I don't know if I'm busy yet on Sunday evening, so put me on the reserve (you know my IGN and what I can play).

This is exactly what this is all about, seeing if you enjoy being a casual pvp player or the every now and again pvp player but either way this run is entirely about the fun! Dont forget to drop your IGN's in the thread and after thinking about which builds would be best to run, I will also update the thread with the skills needed and will assign roles depending on what you wish you play and by what are available.
I must use my staff powers only to annoy.

I'd love to join if I can make it. Always fun to go to the ol' halls!
Preferred spot anything but monk. Most preferred is perhaps ranger or ele.

EST is GMT -5, so that's 14:00 EST
I think PST is GMT-8, which would make it 11:00 PST

Ooh quite a nice response to this thread and quite a few mindline/backline players that could be good for what I have in mind, the build is relatively simple and should be fun and easy for all to start off with and depending how that goes and if I practise my calling/tactic calling before sunday then we might try something a bit more challenging :) will keep this thread updated and sorry meg no pro's allowed ;)

You know as well as I do that I even rage when we're winning. No, I'd rather wait until people have had time to build up a thicker skin before I join in this sort of thing.

Megs rage is funny though. It's like a sea lion who woke up and couldn't find his lobster friend to tell jokes about the clam with. Just kinda cranky, but still missing making jokes, so has to throw those in somewhere.
Anyway, I'm ok with comming if I'm not already doing something with my guild or alliance. I can fill in where needed for HA, but I'm pretty sure I'd be the best benefit to your team on a frontline or midline position.

Oh, if you're all actually interested in this, I'd suggest you practice what you expect to play.
1) It'll make you better at it, so you'll win more and have more fun.
2) Stranger doesn't have much (if any) experience with calling, so learning that as well as micro'ing you all will be quite a task.

Hi,
This sounds great. I'll try to get online too. I have 2 accounts with Fierce Gladiator (2) title from RA mostly. Been a'great loner' when it comes to PvP. I have 1 account with prophesies wholly unlocked and 2nd with Nighfall and GW:EN.
I have some great builds i made for RA, but quite sure they're not for 8 vs 8. I prefer to play a necro, but can try anything needed. That being said a monk is *not* a try-to-play class. As yoda said it's do or do not (and sadly I cannot)
Hope this turns out well. And if I cant make it GL:HF:-)

I'd be interested in joining in the future. Barely any PvP experience beyond RA and snowball fights (lol), but i'd love to learn.
I am busy Sunday and dont currrently have Vent but keep me in mind for future events.
