June 12 is carbon belch day, a day where you rev up that old el camino and just let it run in your drive way all day. when you exhale more than you inhale. when you do everything you can to release carbon into the air.
The purpose of this is to bring awareness to global warming. and prove its not real. before i go any further i should make a disclaimer that i am NOT trying to cause a political debate, so please, do not turnn it in to one. it is planned for june 12 because congress is going to screw over the average american even more by passing a "carbon emission tax". June 12 is the day for meeting on said tax.

Leaving the Warming/Pollution issue aside, I'm sure the oil companies would love this idea, especially given the high prices right now. They're already bathing in record profits while customers are getting squeezed. I feel no inclination to waste gas and line their pockets more than I have to, and this definitely falls into the "unnecessary" category.
I drive a fairly economical car, but even so, the prices are starting to hurt. Leave the car running all day just because of some internet thing? No thank you.

National Kill An Infant day....doesnt matter how you do it, just kill an infant...bonus points if that infants corpse is used to kill more infants...extra double bonus mega points if you then dump random toxic waste into thriving ecosystems
oh, and you automatically win if you take a box of kittens, bury them up to thier necks, and run them over with a lawnmower

This is the most f*cktarded thing I've ever heard. Well if you don't want a debate then don't post something that is blatently going to cause a stir. Whoever organised this is a complete jackarse. People like you render every decent persons attempt to cut down on waste useless. You complain at fuel prices being at $4 a gallon in America, In Britain its at the equivelent of $10 or more a gallon. Please, this is the dumbest thing I've ever seen in my life.
