First real LOL from gw in awhile

Well recently gw has become quite stale with the guild im in somewhat dead(due to graduation and silly kids thinking sex and booze>gw) so i have only been on periodically just to kill the time, i get on my mesmer today and head into RA with an ineptitude bar just for "kittens" and giggles we loose to a monk, 2 mesmer, 1 sin team first round no big deal, as we're waitng to get thrown back into RA the monk goes...our mesmer has a spear...i look and sure enough one of the mesmers is an Me/P so i go lol, you sure get some "interesting" builds in RA nowadays

Apparently this pisses the kid off, he pm's me saying i had a spear and shield too(high health set :-p) i try explaining this to him as well as explaining what the mesmer profession should be aiming to do....my words fall on deaf ears, he demands i 1v1 him so he can show me his obious superiority

Im just about bored enough to take him up on this offer, so i guest him, he comes to the hall and i switch my build to my usual BYOB mesmer build which is crip anguish thinking ill just degen and kite him and piss him off till he rages

I get all set up and ask if hes ready, he notices my secondary is /a instead of whatever my secondary was on the inept build and he demands i change back to my RA build as thats what he is using...i try explaining that my build was 100% anti physical and it would be a very one sided match if i take that build(inept, wandering eye, clumsiness, conjure nightmare, the energy managemnt skill you use with nightmare, ether feast, distortion, res sig) but again, deaf ears he insists i use my ra build because he killed me three times in ra

So the match begins, i say meet at flagstand as is standard with any 1v1 or so i thought, he apparently wants to try ganking my archers...dies before i can get to him...i let him run a flag out and we wait for him to boost the DP off, after his second boost i start attacking him, he attacks back and dies in seconds (i saw this comming, i must be nostradomus) he demands it was a sneak attack on my part and he wasnt ready...so another 4 minutes of waiting for him to boost his DP off, i tell him im going to /dance untill he starts attacking me, he waits untill hes got a full 10 morale to start attacking me, so inept, clums, etc, etc, etc hes down in seconds, he demands i was cheating because his spears didnt hit(im assuming he meant distortion) and then rages

i have to say...if i can meet more people like this RA might just rekindle my as of late dying interest with gw

BTW...wasnt someone supposed to setup a GA 1v1 tourney...i may have to do that :-p

not for mesmers :-p nothing is more satisfying as when some random scrub in RA challenges you to a 1v1 and you're on your mesmer

So True, noting satisfies me more when you see a overconfident Warrior or assassin commin at you and you got anti melee all over your skill bar. Makes me feel warm and cuddly inside :)

hmmmm...i love RAing with noobs, especially the ones that load up on preps and then use Barrage, and the ones that wonder why their Barrage only hits one person when they split. Ah, the times

We have a few guys in TL that like to AB and they're constantly challenging people to 1v1s. It's really funny, because I don't think we've had anyone ever lose one.

i mostly have it the otherway...

i got a war build, with can keep daze up always and has nice DPS and takes an avarage caster down in 10seconds or so(I KNOW it isn't quick but it isn't ment to be). most mesmers say like: i can beat every war, they suck... etc etc. but still, mostly i defeat them, because there are certain tricks that make some combos useless...

headbutt(you are dazed), plague touch, and then random axe attack skills with bulls build in and your done! ofcourse it can be counterd, everybuild can be countered, but this one is pretty hard IMO, because i never really met a mesmer who had a 'easy' time with me... ^.^

those are my lol moments, to just totally stun mesmer by being beat by a war ^^

btw: i didn't only fought 'noob' mesmers, like rogue, hippie etc. etc. would think now...

on topic: thats really funny XD spears FTW :P

lol that reminded me of the AB weekend, it was me, slecks, savage, and ct and we saw some guys from rawr, so we just kept singling out and killing asp while he was alive....there was a good 5 minutes of him running screaming OH JEBUS SAVE ME in all chat and us 'lol'ing in vent

then all the rawr team ganked the hell out of us...but i lived!

rofl that happens frequently to me, whenever i get flamed in ab i say:

they take it seriously ofcourse as that is how some people communicate and immediatly starts raging and calls me bad words, which i then report and 80% of the tim they get banned for ~3days (i add to friends on other acc to check)

I onced 1v1 3 r9s when I was a complete and utter noob, some AB argument which got over heated, started with one tit claiming he owned me when he had a monk and his necro friend.....so arguments lead to the word noob that word annoyed me and me being me wanted to 1v1.

I ran lightning surge and lightning orb and >HEAL AREA<, ele vs ele he had obsidian flesh with shadow steps KD(shock), shock wave, and after shock with some other random things. After him failing to kill me constantly I was just keeping myself alive while ruining his energy pool from his stupid attempts to shock and shockwave kill me, eventually the dumb ass over exhuasts him self and can't cast stone flesh, then just surge orb Lightning hammer, wand and then I axed his ass to finish him off.

The other two was warrior vs warrior and necro vs necro, the necro being the dumbest of them all, he said bring what ever build you want, so he goes life trasnfer with vamp etc for degen, I just brang hex breaker some blood skills for healing and interrupts...he died in seconds and moaned right after about my bar being anti his bar.....

Then I face the warrior who was actually a pretty good fight, and I didn't win!! Although to be fair I don't think a sword warrior stands much chance against a decent hammer warrior in all honesty! Especially when it's a PvE char with 2 major runes and no sup vigor xD

Best 1v1s I've ever had! Just went to show how pathetic rankers actually can be, and at that time I wasn't even a bambi let alone a gladiator!

Just to add onto the patheticly stupidness of this, after winning the first fight with the ele they where on his side watching, they started to attack me trying to kill me! That's just plain rude!

Hehe, kinda makes me miss the old W/E Meteor Shower/Savannah Heat days in RA xD Then you say 'Wth are you trying to do with that build...?' They get mad, call you a noob, you get dragged into trying to explain why Warriors arent supposed to use those spells...They challenge you to a 1v1, they go 'Omfg! stay still!' xD Then they /ragequit :P
