Hiya all,
I'm finally returning to Guild Wars after nearly 3 years (I stopped playing in November? of 2005 - I remember Sorrow's Forge being very recent); Anyways, I'm upgrading to all 3 expansions + bonus + game of the year upgrade; hope to see you all on! (My main is Gunslinger Vic)
Also, I'm hoping to join a somewhat casual but active guild with occasional GvG & with members willing to bring me back up to speed on all the changes. I use Vent, Teamspeak, Skype.
One last thing...Gwen owns me again? =(

Ahaha, I tried to solo UW with my 3 year old W/Mo build, epic failed.
By the way, is there a guide to all the common Guild Wars abbreviations? I don't recognize some of the new ones at all (AB for example).

Wow youve been gone for a LONG time man, longer then ive been playing in fact. Well theres been so many builds in and out to do UW, nerfs and buffs to skills, 3 new games. Factions, Nightfall and Eye Of The North.
Theres so much stuff since youve been offline.
And AB is alliance battles, its a 12 vs 12 Battle for faction and land in factions.

Welcome Back! The game is very different if you've been gone that long...I'll give two sites I can't live without.
Guild Wars Wiki- a wiki of anything and everything in the game, has answers for almost anything you want to know about.
PvX Wiki- a wiki of Guild Wars builds, great for farming builds or anything else you need since alot of the ones you used way back when are probably nerfed.
Hope that helps you get back to enjoying the game!

You left around 2 months after I started playing.. whoa... I kind of wish I had left then, thinking of everything I could've done in RL with all this time. The game's changed alot, Sorrow's Furnace is not really all that popular now that many new elite areas have come out. And warriors can still farm the UW, but the common build is W/Rt now.

Yeah, i mean, why spend a few minutes browsing GameAmp and actually posting, such a waste of time, you could've earned so much more money if you did some more useful things, oh yes.

If you're going to start up PvP again, you better get to unlocking skills! 99% of all builds use skills across all campaigns.
