Ok so, im working on my brute to get to 50, and its very difficult.
Just wondering which is better.
The Bane Spider
or
The Crap Sider
I personally like... The Bane spider, for the good aggro control, and the Stealth Strike
But the Crap Spider is awesome cuz of the animation of the backpack, and the bomb they set
Then again, Bane Spiders dont get to summon any kind of pet, and i wud like to see some pets around me (i get bored)
And...The Crab Spiders are just (for me) to slow, just IMO

Traingin and Gadgets.

You will definitely not be disappointed by either. They're equally strong, but if I should mention one or two differences, then it's that Crabs are AoE oriented, while Banes are Single Target oriented.
Although Banes might seem lonely at times, then, as said, they get the two Disruptors too, and you always have access to the pet from the PPP. They also get some pretty cool powers, like Surveillance, which apart from debuffing the enemy without them aggroing, lets you view their Combat Attributes. It's quite amusing to see what attributes different kinds of mobs have.

PPP is Patron Pool Powers, and crowd control is the lvl 32 power for Bane Spiders, it's PBaoe cone with a 180 degree directly in front of you and the best time to use it is when your hidden, and your targets are lined up in front of you or grouped tight together. With Build up, the Toxic DoT and the stealth strike, you can defeat a small group of minions with one attack that are equal or one lvl above you.

Actually Banes can summon
Traingin and Gadgets.
Call Reinforcements 38 Summon Arachnobot Disruptors |
God bless reinforcements. Those disrupters provided me with some thing I sorely needed in Chimerora.. A hold and a imobilize. Now if I just had a repel on my crab I could keep the scrappers and their critical hits off of me. I now have 5 pets for my crab and will probably get a sixth at 47.

You guys are tempting me to get back on my little soldier and start his trek to his spiderhood...but once my Night Widow is grown enough and fully blossoming, i might just tinker a bit and try to get him to 24 just to start the branch...
I've gotten some good ideas of where i'll want to go from this post.

they are alot like trollers pets. you don't have any actual control over them, if they get close enough to an enemy or if you fire on some one, they'll go for them. they are quite destructive and I only have one damage on them right now. Another thing I found out yesterday. A combination of OM, VG, FG, bots and suppression with a red = dead purple mobs and team mates complaining that they don't have time to get into the fight.

Still like my Bane Spider. When it comes to single target damage, I do over 400 pts with build up and surveillance. And that isn't even when I'm hidden and using Shatter for the Executioners Strike. With a few tier 2 inspirations and a second wind I took out Infernal solo in less than a minute. Bane Spiders are a good choice if you like soloing alot.

I'm now A ranged attacker. I have with 5 AOE attacks, 3 single and 5 ranged attack pets that can hold and imbolize.

I'm personally gonna roll a Bane Spider, and Ice, if you dont know why, imma be pretty sad D: but i like Banes a lil more then crabs because crabs A. Lag me with their pets and B. Crabs are too slow for me, i prefer fast paced gameplay and crabs seem 2 much like somekind of mechanical spider tank, personally imma like checkin out mobs combat attriubutes lol, i wonder what death surge's attributes are hmmmm.... *wanders off to his own maniacal plans and Devices*

I wouldn't call it slow but crabs aren't meant to be scrappers/tanks so they don't get into the thick of it. It actually goes by pretty fast when (with hasten) you can nuke every other mob. It's AOE heaven between OM, FG, VG, mace disrupter blast & suppression.

To be honest, Crab spiders do look supremely cool, especially when their set to uver tall. You REALLY tower over people. Banes do look cool as well, but...its the arms man. Ever since seeing a Crab spider NPC...I want -points-

GUYS..there is sooo much info in this post...have any of all considered making Veat Guides............
I personally dont care for my spider veat atm (lvl islowe still) I am a widow girl..but kuddos for all the info ....glad to see it
