ok i am going to be getting a new game tomorrow and need help on choosing should i get factions or nightfall i have prophices now but cant decide if i should get factions or nightfall so plz suggest a game and why that game would be better.

Factions - Fast leveling (lvl 20 in a few hours), nice story, Alliance Battles, small to almost no learning curve, easy missions with some hard ones (which is very nice in my opinion), Assassin and Ritualist (both great professions).
Nightfall - Heroes, nice new skills, pretty long learning curve, lvl 20 in 3 maybe 4 days, awesome missions (Gate of Madness is a pain in the belly, but really cool), Paragons rule! and Dervishes look cool (my dervish armor)
So yeh, my final opinion: I think you should go with Nightfall, heroes are a really helpful addition, and the rewards (think of accomplishments) and ofcourse the hidden treasures, which can give you some nice items =]

I liked factions more as far as playing the campaign goes but nightfall offers a lot of stuff in other areas. When it comes to skills nightfall's are incredibly useful and often used in both pve and pvp play where as factions had a few gems (splinter weapon and gift of health come to mind immediately) nightfall skills overall probably see more play. Along with heroes which will make your gameplay in any campaign easier especially if no other players are available.

factions lvl 20 in a day and i could AB.
nightfall - heros,hidden treasures.
god i think im going to try and see if i can get borh lol.

hmm , you should go for Factions ^^, very nice storyline, great nations (Kurzicks , kinda gothic thingies , and Luxons, wannabe indians imo ^^) , lovely nature and stuff ^^.
Cons: If you play it alot, you could finish the campaign within a week so...
oh yeh, and the buried chests; the more times you open them, the drops gonna suck more every time.

Hah
Id say Factions if you want an easier and more enjoyable gameplay experience.
If your like me and cant stand other players, go for nightfall. Heros are alot more helpful than most people. Today I beat a Hard Mode mission with nothing but Heros/Henchman and beat it faster than I did with a PuG.
But if you can, get both. :)

I'd say go for NF. Factions was pretty fun the first time I played it, but now I'm hardly there at all. Only when I'm buying something, helping people or doing either The Deep or Urgoz Warren.
NF's also got the city where all the trading happens (or at least most of it):D

Or just factions, good PvP good PvE if you ask me it's 10x better than NF, NF is just boring! You've got the deep and the other...kurzie place! Alliance Battles ftw 12 v 12 PvP / PvE! GOOD FUN! :)
NF though has good armor, as stated (not to say factions hasn't but it's better in NF tbh) has better classes than factions.
Well.....I'd go for Factions because AB is just so kewlz! Hope that helped though!
