Is this a good build

Is this a good build for a ritulist that is going to be doing FoW in a team and soloing?

bare in mind i built in it like 2 minutes so any suggestion?

Arcane Echo
Blind was mingson
vengeful weapon
soothing memories
ancestors visage
physical resistance
flesh of my flesh for when im in a team

It has no focus. What are you actually trying to do here? Dmg? Support?

day after day people prove time and time again how utterly stupid they are on this site...this is a good build eh?

There is almost no damage if you're "soloing" it has no specific focus or support(which is what rits should do) There's no elite skill...and the build itself seems to be 8 random skills chucked together

For rit, take weapon spells to buff the party, possibly wards....maybe even full resto

maybe something like this...i hurd barbs+MoP is gud in pve

Offering of Spirit, Splinter Weapon, Ancestors' Rage, Barbs, Mark of Pain, Weapon of Warding, Protective Was Kaolai, Death Pact Signet

idk abouyt atts, play around till you find something, but have resto at 9-10ish so PwK gives a decent heal...don't worry about speccing much into spawing as you dont really need it

Er what? There are good builds and bad builds. Now a skilled player with a bad build will most likely be better than an unskilled player with a good build. But it's not all luck. This is Guild Wars not rock paper scissors.

Ahem...Yea there are good and bad. Ive heard the 105 VwK Rit sucks but it works perfectly for me. (with a little tweaking of course.)

I dont think it takes much Brainpower to play Guild Wars though...Sure when you first use the build you have to figure out what to use first, but after that its a no brainer...

As said above, unless we know what this builds going to be used for we cant really say its good or bad.

yes these skills were just put together in 2 minutes before i had to go to work

im normally a spirt rit but i need a good build to either solo FoW or to team it

i like vengeful wep, but i'm pretty sure splinter wep is prefered for dmg output if your in a team.
echoing is ok for the healing, and as mesmer you can change phys resistance out for other mantras or stances.

Whatever happened to just keeping your mouth shut if you don't have anything nice to say? Seriously, you're complaining about people on this site and their "stupidity," while you show yours (and your lack of tact), time and again. More than anything, this site is lacking discretion. Egos have gotten so large I'm surprised they actually fit through the "cyber door" here. Whatever happened to kindly disagreeing with someone, rather than flexing your cyber-muscles. Granted you did provide some suggestions, but the first comment is totally useless and entirely unnecessary. If you don't like the people on the site then leave - find another site where you can flex your mighty muscles and people will gawk in pure admiration.

I'm sick of this shit.

EDIT: Oh and to the OP - although I cannot provide much insight to you on a Rit (not one of my better professions), it seems like some people have given you some good advice. If it feels like it's working to you, then stick with it. Experiment with a few things here and there and perhaps you'll come up with something even better. Good luck!

To put it rather bluntly, your build is not quite good. But it certainly can be, with a few minor modifications.

I'll adjust your build for both soloing and team play, using as few modifications as necessary:

Soloing:
-Arcane Echo
-Vengeful Was Khanhei
-Vengeful Weapon
-Physical Resistance
-Ancestor's Visage
-Sympathetic Visage
-Soothing Memories
-*optional*

Team play:
-Attuned Was Songkai
-Soothing Memories
-Mend Body and Soul (or Spirit Light, whatever you prefer)
-Vengeful Weapon
-Weapon of Shadow (or Weapon of Warding)
-Union
-Displacement
-Flesh of my Flesh

These are probably not the best, I have no experience with ritualists, but they should get you on the right track.
