HI all, I'm new to the site so please forgive me if I seem newbish. I've been trolling this site for a while and I've read the deions for a Dervish. My question is how do I make one(Do I have to use a character I already have?). When I installed EOTN I didn't get any new slots to make a new character with.

Welcome to GameAmp
You can either buy a character slot....which when I got mine it was $9.99. Second option is to delete one of your characters. Third option if you are interested in possible buying another one of the campaigns, you would get addition slots. I do not remember how many. You would get the slot you wanted and another game so to speak. Killing two birds with one stone.

I just checked my account. It says that I've added two more slots that I can use, but they aren't showing up when I start GW.
I start to make a new character and when it gets to what expansion I want it only comes up with either Prophecies or Factions, Nigtfall shows but I don't have that expansion yet. EOTN doesn't come up. Should I re-install the game, Factions, and EOTN to see if the slots appear.

EOTN is an expansion, and you cant start characters in it.
you can get there by taking quests on existing characters.
you can ofcourse make a new characer and take a quest to get there.
I've heard there are dungeons in prophecies, but I dont have nightfall, so I dont know exactly

unless you buy nightfall you wont be able to make a dervish am sorry
dervish and paragon are nf only "made new" character
so in faction orr profecie the option for dervish nor paragon will not be present

Ok, so I do need to get Nightfall for the new character slots. So now Should I just get the download from GW store(which from my understanding is just for the access key) or spend the money at Amazon or try my luck at Ebay.

NEVER! ebay, its to risky with a game like GW, i would stick to buying a 1st hand copy from a legit site like amazon.com or play.com(if they do it)
but defenatly do not buy from ebay

I have bought 2 extra character slots and thus have all professions. Buying NF in the online store is something I can recommend. You already downloaded everything when NF came out, so all the data is already in your .DAT file. The only thing you won't have is a CD-case, but that's not a big deal. You can play NF right away!
As said before, EotN is an expension pack and you can access it though the capital cities of each campaign (Lions Arch, Kaineng Center and Kamadan), by taking a quest. This quest will show up every time you zone into the town ("To unlock traveling to .. take the quest .. from ..").
