The reason i prefer H/H in stead of human players

Please refrain from posting images/chatlogs of users in negative ways

This is exactly the reason I do most things with H/H only or with guildies.
Unfortunatly, the mission THK I needed to do with at least 1 other person so we could each guard a gate at the end of the mission...

I guess i'm just unlucky then :( I have it almost all the time, people who over agro, warriors with balth spirit and mending (yes, even today), warriors you use Frenzy + Healing Signet, etc, etc. I've seen all possibilities :P
BTW, if i go with just my heroes, I'm most of the time faster then a PUG, even if it's a "normal" group (there are exceptions ofcourse)

Yeh, I prefer h/h over humans too, I hate it when they overragro all the time >_>, 1 great example for this is Jennur's horde, lots of problems with pug's , no problems with henchies cuz they only screw things up if you do it aswell >_<

I agree with you that sometimes some people can make you go insane when they dont quite act as you expect when playing in a group.

however it should be said that this puts all players that are willing to cooperate in the goods of the team in a bit of a bad day light.

Some people just tend to be more annoying then others but this shouldnt make you only H/H everything because there are plenty of people that act normal

Thats just my opinion though,

h/h is faster and more chance to succeed (with the right heros ofc)
real players is more fun.

Well I always play a mission with H/H. If I fail in succeeding the mission I do it with other players.

I think you just had bad luck with that player.

For missions like that i prefer H/H but in general if there's a real party there, I like actual players.

Theres a way i look at this. I basically think to me self at times, that human players really don't exist, there just really smart programmed NPC's that talk to you and interact with you (LOL), its a good way to look at it so you don't have someone to yell at when they do something wrong, you wouldn't scream at an npc that cant hear you. Anyways, i also realize, combining smart and human player in the same sentence dosen't work well.

Playing with real players is significantly faster if they are good and in general regardless of player skill it makes things a bit more interesting. I generally don't go seeking parties in pve but if a friend is on or if theres a group forming I normally like to take it. The guy you played with was just a noob for the most part pugs will be good enough to get through basically any NM mission.

hm, imo heroes ruined the game... before, you did something with henchmen and lost or you did it with players, i personally think this was better as is is an online game so whats the point if your just going to play on your own, although i agree about pugs.. find a decent pve alliance and play with them, if you got 8 people on vent having a laugh is makes the game so much less tedious than doing everything with heroes... i make point of never h/hing anything, if i can't find a guild group or a pug, i try again later.. there is just no satisfaction imo in h/hing a whole title, because it gets sooo tedious... just my opinion though..

Oh and i might add, another reason why im away from GW for a while is because everyone is so damn build this... build that.. crazy and HH all the way. Beat 4 games with them all by myself!!!!!!!!

5 minutes later, i found a decent player and we just did it with the 2 of us, each with our own heroes.

On topic, I didn't want to say all GW players are noobs and i'm not trying to judge everyone. I know most people can play GW good enough, but i usually don't want to take the risk of getting dumb players when doing a mission. It's the same with duo UW, when I go with strangers, I want to be the 600hp monk when duo smiting, or I want to be the 55hp monk when duo SSing. Simply because the other person can't screw up (most of the time:P).

H/H all the way!! The only human groups I prefer are guildies, my kds, or a couple of friends I know. Other then that PuG's suck. More often then not you get 1 stupid person in the group who screws it up. From the warrior that think's he is invincible, to the monk that can't heal, to the elementalist that brings Meteor Shower in HM. Whatever the case may be, when you PuG it, you take the chance to Scrub it.

All that aside, I enjoy the 2 or so hours I get a day when I don't have to deal wtih people. I deal with people all day at work. I want peace and quiet when I play.

I have control over my H/H which is another nice benefit.

Never had a H/H rage quit or get disconnected.

Never had a H/H say stupid things in chat to others the group.

Never have heard them ever refer to one things as being "noobish"

They don't get jealous when I play with other H/H's.

When I'm late getting home they don't ask where I have been.

Ok, I'm getting carried away with the sarcasm. Anyhow, H'H's for me any time!!!

Heroes and henchmend are only used by me If.
1.If guildess are doing somthing else
2. If I cant find any human player in town

But if there is a grp and they no what there doing it is fun and if the grp is not set right then u wull get what u got. My rule of thumb is this try once with humans if that dont work then go to H/h

meh, to be honest, if its normal mode you could probably easily do thk with a team of 6, take an mm and some heals and nuking and your fine.

usually you can afford to take a few 'tag along' players of your feeling generous.

me and kanna once did one of the factions missions with a ranger that was running some crazy healing bar. no res, no nothing, just pure heals. we both knew he wouldnt benefit the team in any way, but meh, sometimes you gotta help those people out.

but in saying that, he wasnt rude about it, he actually pinged us his bar straight away and said 'I RUN HEAL KK'. and he seemed a nice guy. but, that for me is part of the fun in GW. I love pugs sometimes. i got my prot of canth title on my ele purely through pugs when i first started the game. met a really cool guy who i still speak to now. so yeah, always worth another crack imo.

Have to disagree there. Last time I did Zen Daijun HM with a pug, it took nearly 20 minutes. I did it with just H/H and finished it in 12 minutes. Same with every other mission ive done with both H/H and pugs. I can vanquish most areas faster than an Ursan Group with just H/H. My view on it is; Henchmen dont whine like little babies when they die, they dont blame the monks when they die and they dont bitch when you need a break. Ive had my share of bad luck with Henchmen and anyone whos been in a guild knows that. But overall they are far better than an average pug.

Thats why i save anything thats at risk for admin deleting, such as pics and some awesomely epic threads from some months back that were removed.
