Brute SS/Elec

I need help I want to know the best build for my SS/Elec brute. He is currently level 29. I have the SS powers down pretty much. I just need help with Electricity and the power pools.

SS/Elec is a rather balanced set, and if i were to make a suggestion once u hit 35 drop conserver power, becuase powersink will make it rather useless, also drop jab or punch, i suggest jab, becuase once ya get Foot stomp, everything is gonna be diein nice and fast as well as you havein nice recharge to keep everything up, this is a build i came up with really fast for ya, im not the best build builder (lol) in GA but i do beleive that thats a decent build

An SS/Elec for farming, basically what you would need for sure is your regular powers, Foot stomp is important enough to mention again although it should be one of your "regular powers" Aid Self, And i would suggest the Mu Patron for farming, hence the AoE immoblize

ss/elc is a good all-purpose build. what specifically are you farming? i'm guessing it's nemmey. if i'm right then ss/elc is "decent" for nemmey. there are a couple of things you'll have to keep in mind though. 1) AoE damage is preferable to single target damage. 2) you'll have to take into account the main type of damage being leveled against you.

still using nemisis as the example ss/ is a really good primary. rage is kinda like a semi-permanate
build up. KoB is in my top five as far as single powers go (i literally giggle every time i use it). and footstomp is your main damage producer/mitigater being an AoE power as well as dealing a substantial amount of knockdown.

/elc as previously stated is a good all-purpose secondary. specifically with farming nemmey in mind /elc is only good-not great, just good, and here's why: nemisis' main damage type is fire. /elec's fire resistance is average. with more than a couple of hours tweeking and fiddling with it on mids' i've only been able to get the fire resitance to barely top out at 62%, which is "ok". but there is an upside to /elc. you will have good smashing and lethal resistance too, as well as psi. capped energy resitance, good recharge, built in KB protection and awesome recovery.

right outta the box with the help of a thermal and/or a kin ss/elc has very good survivability. i would look forward to about 250-350 million infamy to get it to where you'll prolly want it on the nemisis farm. to upgrade to uber status your looking somewhere in the vicinity of 500-600 million.

there is a better/faster farming brute. but that's not what you asked =). g'luck!

talking about farming nemisis it's a toss up as far as i'm concerned. alot of people will say that ss/fire is the fastest. i happen to like elec/fire as well. they are both fast but i think ss/ prolly has a slight edge. only for the simple fact that it's two main damage dealers recharge pretty fast. elc/ has slightly longer activation times but it is vastly more AoE oriented compared to ss/.

/fire is great for nemmey 'cause your fire resistance caps with fire shield, plasma shield and temp protection. also it has a built in heal and recovery powers, which both can come back pretty quick properly slotted. in addition, the taunt aura does the most damage of all the brute taunt auras and you'll get another build-up power with firey embrace. and that stacks nicely with the build-up from your primary.

the downside to /fire is your smashing and lethal resistance is comparativly weak. and you have no psi resistance either. as well as having no built in KB protection. so in order to counter these downfalls you'll have to take accrobatics-which has been nerfed with i12. and the fighting pool too, tough and weave specifically.

that will make an elc/fire build really tight with virtually no room for variation. which in turn makes ss/fire alot more appealing to the masses.

a kin will almost certainly be a necessity until you can get your global recharge up around 65-75% with IO set bonuses (not including hasten). to go kin-less you'll prolly spend 200-250 million infamy for starters, and prolly 4-500 million for a build that will be almost completly self sufficient.

as my good bud always says when we start talkin farm builds: "farming is the devil".
