For Both why not try to do the Hero's Handbook? I find it Very pleasing in regards of Variety, plus the points you get aint nothing, with a good H/H setup (i used Sabway after doing the first book) you can do it in around 2-3 hours, in the end it might be 5% less efficient then grinding, but im sure it will be more mentally pleasing as atleast the sceneray changes from time to time and you have the option which chapter to fill up first.
Atleast im not made to be a mindless drone so repeatedly doing the same thing makes Jack a dull boy.

It's so nice to be insane, no one asks you to explain!

Yep, that's what I do. Can't stand those point farms...over and over and over and over of the same Area, Monsters and not to mention mindlessly pushing the same buttons over and over -.-
Books are far better to use for points. Doesn't take long to fill em up and you get more points probably than all that grinding will get you.
Wb btw Forumite :)

norn : see guide below my sig :)
asuran : farm Magus Stones area, it takes between 55 and 110 minutes with 2MM's, 1SS, 2Healer Monks, Warrior, Ele and any other. It will net between 1500 and 3000 Asuran points depending on bonuses given. There are upto 350 beasties to kill here (including 6 bosses) so lots of XP as well to be gained.
ebon : turn right out of Longeye and keep going right round the map anti-clockwise ignoring the 2nd NPC (go to him last when map is cleared). Keep tight right as there are a load of skale and a boss down there. When back to the entrance to Longeye then clear out the forest of mantid's and if u really want to then go and kill Molotov Rocktail and the rest of the stragglers on the green of which there aren't that many.
I'm not a grinder or farmer so I used these places to get points but used the books method too and alternate between both methods :)

You should do books. Farming might be faster but it is boooooooooring. At least I can't farm because it's so boring doing things over and over. I agree with Forumite.

I'm opposiate, i can farm, farm, farm, but hey, it's not for everyone.
Farm Areas, that i find the best:
Asuran = Magus Stones NM/HM clearing. pick up the shrines and start killing!
Norn = The Path to Revelations Quest, HM this quest over and over again killing 250+ creatures while doing so = very fast norn points. it's best to *sigh* i'm going to say it... be in Ursan Groups.
Vanguard = Clearing Grothmar Wardowns / Dalada Uplands worked really good for me.
it is repititious, but now you at least have some info from the other side ;) books work good too and aren't as grindy, but do indeed take longer.
All lies and jest, still a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest.
