hi
i was thinkin about buyin this game, i'm not stopping gw but just wnna try somethin new as i heard it's pretty nice
i've seen some gameplay vids and read reviews but i still kinda dunno anything (prolly coz i only look at pictures and skip the writing part :p)..
i heard they got classes like ranger? i wnna start as a ranger i think as that is my gw proffesion too..
does anyone here actually play it and can give me an opinion or am i wasting my time? :z

For Age of Conan try the AoC.GA site =] (as Razomoto suggested, wb forumite^^)
A friend of mine also plays AoC, but he already stopped playing o.O (yes, he is a WoW player)
Anyways, i've seen the game, it has really good graphics. The fighting system is really fighting, as you were shooting in a shooter. About classes etc. you can choose two or something (he said it like that) ah well that's all i know about the classes.
Some things you have in AoC.
-Mounts, a giant mammoth, and a giant rhino.
-Attribute points, like in Guild Wars you can always adjust these points, however here you can give your points to fishing,mining etc.
-Water is a safe space for you, you can swim, but monsters can't.
-There are quests (doh).
-Leveling is the main point.
-Pvp

Your friend informed you wrong;
you can choose out of 3 human races.
- Auilonian
- Cimmerian
- Stygian
Each of them can choose out of Rogue, Priest, Soldier/Mage (Only Stygians can choose the mage profession, while Chimmerian and Aquilonian are the only ones that can choose the soldier branch). Out of these you can choose the specialisation. For instance; if you are a stygian mage; you can become a demonoligist (raise demons to aid in battle), necromancer or Herlad of Xotli.
So there a LOT more to choose from then 2 ;)
