I do the UW Sin/Ele CP farm. I average 25 ecto a day, in just about 2 hrs. Average is 4 per run. 50k a hr. I do not know of any quicker more lucrative at the moment.
GL finding one though=)

LOLZ!!!!!!!!!
...
...but seriously, if you want to make money you can always HFFF, or do onbe of the millions of ele farms there are out there. tbh ecto farming is the quickest way to make a decent amount of money atm.
for selling weapons you want to get eotn and do some HM dungeons. they hold most of the new DaW items that were introduced into the game recently. i think they still sell for a decent lump sum if you get your hands on one.
or... as you said, do some pvp and get some z keys. they sell at about 5kish still if you find a needy buyer.
or you can always go ursan and do FoW clears in about 45 mins. that usually nets you a nice profit if you get some good drops.

You cna constantly beat slavers in Hm and hope you get lucky with drops. That said A/E UW farming is the best way to make money at the moment. Pulling in 100-200k a day is amazing tbh.

I've been a farmer a LONG time. I guess the first question that needs to be asked is your definition of a good return on your time.
UW is currently the fastest way to make money, period. If you average 3 ecto every 45 min (slow time) and sell them for 3.3K each that is still 10k (plus anything else you picked along the way) every 45 min. That comes down to 1k every 4.5 minutes of your time.
If you are looking for the 100k an hour run - me too, and I've been a farmer since when the invinci-monk ran protective bond.
I've always considered making 1-2k every ten minutes to be a good return on my time, excluding the lucky drop, because guess what, most of the drops you get anywhere are merchant fodder.
I've also seen these threads many many times because people new to farming set their expectations on the gold return for your time.
To compare, when I HFFF I get 3750 every 35-40 min (depending on load times) barring getting paid for the run by someone. That also is around 1k per ten minutes.

HB tourneys
with the current z key price a top 10 place in a hb tourney yields approx 25k
and if you actually try to get good at pvp theres always AT's for GvG but who am i kidding, maybe 5 people here actually pvp(that know how) :-p

AT's are good, but only if you know how to pvp. first place in a tourney gets you more than 10 keys. you can also spend your faction on the keys, so that's even moar moneys. i got 4 keys last night just doing halls for 30 minutes.. even if we did win halls and hold lol.
you gotta take the good with the bad, smile with the sad, love what you got, and remember what you had.

I can get up to 5 zkeys a day just from playing GvG with low level guilds during euro times. That's not including any tourneys that I attempt or American time GvGs that I do.
Reliably, tank a guild with ATs and then farm scrubs for quick victories with byob.

feel this would be an appropriate thread for me to bust in my 2 cents... or whatever.
thing about GW is it's a market econmy, in my mind anyway, just like the world economy. when somethings popular, certain items drastically increase in price.
ie: chapter launches.
lets talk about green trading quickly. alright, green trading / farming is basically in the toilet, that's where i used to make a ton of money, but alas, markets have become flooded, greens have become practically undesirable to pay more than 5k for 95% of them out there.
it's no longer cost effective in my mind, perhaps i should re-write my trading guide.
i'll be blunt, i have 4 accounts, 2 of them are stricly storage with 10 character between the 2 storage accounts + upgraded storage, etc. i can hold a lot of stacks of "crap"
now, because i haven't been on a whole heap as of late my inventory check up hasnt been as good, but hey, whatever, it cost me a bit of money.
Last weekend (yes, this reputation weekend) Fur Squares jumped an insane amount comparatively to the last year.
i've had multiple stacks of Fur Squares from Warden Rt farming stored up for quite sometime (app. 7 stacks + change of Fur Squares or a retail equivilancy this last weekend... k, to be precise, i had 1821 fur squares that i've been sitting on since the release of NF) because Fur was a particular item i farmed in high hopes of it going through the roof upon the release of NF, unfortunately, Elona is a hot climate and warm fur wasn't really big on the menu... that was a venture that obviously didn't work as planned.
upon the release of Factions, i had only but 2 accounts, 1 used for storage with 4 characters and the chest pack full of stacks of common and rare materials, as much as i could possibly farm... when factions was released, i seriously made well over 700k selling off those materials in about 3 days... pretty easy when you can sell a tanned hide square for 18g a piece and you have over 4000 in storage, that was over 72k right there, on one material, yes, i need to admit that a couple weeks prior to factions launch i was buying stacks at 2k per stack, but then turned around 2500, so, what i grossed was actually not net, though 3/4 of it was pure farmed mats.
anyway, got side tracked....
about the fur and this last weekend... fur jumped from 120g/ at the trader to 190-200g/... that allowed me to sell direct to the trader at 90-100g/ and i did manage to sell an entire stack at 130g/ YAY!... i sat on it, never bought any of it and just waited... worked out really good and in 1 day, just by selling fur made over 80k, and i still have half my stock remaining just incase it climbs up past that.
i create damask and sell it, i farm the plant fibers and dust that you can count in stacks per hour. (about 2 stacks/hr) either way, i create the damask, then sell it to buyers, not to the trader, this sometimes takes patience, but does generate a lot of profit... though if i need money fast i will break down and sell it to the trader, seeing as i still make 170+ profit on it, after material & crafting cost has been taken into consideration.
i also do feathers and make a killing on them! sold a stack to a guy just yesterday for 30g/. the trade cost is 37g/ ... so, 7.5k for that stack, not bad, considering i was farming dust and plant fiber stacks at the same time along with iron, wood (which sucks) tanned, and cloth.
anyway...
that's how i make money now, i mat trade, i make rare mats (particularly leather squares from tanned hides = good, good money at times)
and when the market's in the crapper on certain mats, i'll stock up on them and store them away for when the price spikes.
yep.
everyone in AMP knows how little i have currently been playing, but this last weekend, made over 120k with basically no effort, you obviously can't do this every day, but i'd average out well over 200k per week when going really hard core on mat trading during when i was on a lot.
ps. having 2 storage accounts for mats is extreme, but alas they were free so i counted that as profit, they also generate mini-pets, most of them currently coming up on 3rd year, so, let the good times role! LOL ;)

In about 40 minutes I made 30k uw farming and I had 2 mediocre runs. That's good money no matter how you look at it.
