How do I do a screen print quickly of a toon in action w/o it including my chat window, power trays, etc. I know I can shut down certain windows before taking the snapshot, but that takes time, and doesn't work when you need to take the screen shot NOW. Other's I play with online say they just hit their print screen key, and it takes the picture w/o including the chat window, power trays, map, etc. How can I get my settings like that? I have it set up in my options for screenshot (JPEG) to be bound to my print screen key (which is actually alt+sys rq... I have a logical G15 keyboard). What am I doing wrong? Any help much appreciated!

With the default settings, just hitting the "Print Screen" key puts your screenshot in your screenshots folder. If you set up City of Heroes in the default location, it will be at
C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\screenshots
The shot will be saved without any HUD such as chat windows or power trays. Note that it's immediately saved as a file, so no need to open up a graphics program, paste it from clipboard and saving it.
If you want to see the HUD stuff, you'll want to hit alt+printscreen, then use a graphics program as described above.
I'm too lazy to keep up with my own altoholism. Abana is my "main" right now as I'm going for my first level 50, but as for my creations here's a short list:
Abana (hero, Champion), lvl 46 mag tanker, stone/stone/fit
Etain Echraide (hero, Virtue), lvl 21 mag controller, plant/therm
One Man Vs. The Mob (hero, Virtue), lvl 11 sci blaster, nrg/nrg/fly/stealth
Ballplayer Reverend (hero, Champion), lvl 19 nat tanker, will/mace/speed

Actually, if you WANT the user interface windows (power trays and whatnot) type in the command:
After entering that command, any screenshots you take will have the user interface until you either quit and re-open the game or enter the command:

the command: "/screenshotui #" will let you toggle on and off your HUD for screen shots.
If you want the HUD to show up, use a 1 instead of the #.
If you don't want the HUD, then use a 0 instead of the #.

TY TY TY Everyone for your helpful info, and responding so quickly (wow). I feel so silly c uz I never knew that screenshots folder was there... and I've been playing the game for a year! Now that I've found it, I've got tons of pics in there that I need to go thru and decide which ones I want to keep. Once again, TY so much!
