| looking for some new PC Games |

hi guys,
i'm interested in checking out some new PC games. the only game i seem to play lately is guild wars (which i'm still not bored of btw).
i uninstalled all the other games that don't instrest me anymore (only guild wars left):
1. COD4 demo
2. Fear
3. Deus Ex - invisible war
4. Serious Sam (FE, SE and 2)
5. Pain Killer
6. Thirteen
7. Unreal Tournament 2004
8. Unreal 2
9. Prince of persia - sands of time
10. Halo
juding by the list above, i can clearly see i'm loosing interest in the FPS genre all togeather. however, i won't say my taste for it totally dead cuz i did like the COD4 demo (thinking about getting the full version). maybe the problem is i need "newer" games like recently released games or something cuz must of those games above were pretty old :S.
i can't play an FPS for more than 1 hour b4 i start getting bored as oppised to GW, which i play at least 3 hours a day (would be more if i didn't have a job :P). maybe interaction with real players should be my new direction, unfortunitly the COD4 demo didn't have multiplayer so i really have no idea how its like.
maybe i should try Team Fortress 2. is there a demo or some sort of trial preiod for that game?
the only (more recent) single player oriented game i could sit through for hours without getting bored was prince of peria which was a great hack n slasher /platformer that i enjoyed a lot. i didn't try any of the sequels to the series, are they worth it?
i tried requiem but that game reminded me too much of my WOW experiance -.- so i got bored of that too. some of you might disagree but thats just my opinion. maybe when the game is released i'll give it another try.
so the button line, i'm looking for a few PC games thats more multiplayer oriented with good fast pase action or anything thats just like GW. i own no consoles.
hardware requirements? not a factor, i'm confident that my PC can handle anything i throw at it.

Requiem actually is released....it was released like a week ago or so.
Other than that, I too am running out of games.....D3 needs to get here to hold my interest for a few more years. :(

I'd say at least one of the following as of right now.
1. Full Version of CoD4, its a great game.
2. If you dont mind monthly fees, an old mmo called eq2 is out there ;P
3. Wait for Diablo 3, its gonna make history haha.
4. DIABLO II LOD!!!!

Team Fortress 2 is actually a very good idea, its hilarious but on some proper servers you can actually find nice teams, ofcourse, its all about PUGS, literally, its just one giant PUG unless you got some clan going on, but its pretty damn fun.
Its FPS in its own way, its not like BattleField series, its not Unreal Tournament, it's not Call of Duty in the nearest, its something similar, yet very different.
You're ought to try it out just for fun, especially if you have a knack at FPS, but just want to explore deeper then the ''kill this, frag that'' kind of atmosphere, Team Fortress 2 is more about covering eachothers backs, sure you can solo, but more often then not the enemy is also walking in groups.
BattleField is similar in style, you know, classes, strengths, weaknesses, and the lot, but BattleField is mostly composed of lone-wolfs and Rambo's, not people in for hilarious fun that makes no true sense at all.
War is Hellarious.

Heh, that reminded me of TF2....you missed it, they had a weekend anyone can play weekend a few weeks ago, only time I have played it but with a decent team it was so much fun. Medic is so hardcore if used right....pushed with ubercharging a pyro and cleared enough out to cap a base. Then pushed at the last few seconds of a match ubercharging a heavy against the enemy (lost the match but it was a great push), assisted in 4-5 kills.
Sadly, I cannot buy it right now otherwise I would probably be playing it :(
Hopefully the other guy will try it and like it.

Well, there is a monthly fee to it. I like the game alot cause it's pretty mature, players and gameplay. Eve Online. It's 15 bucks a month, but if you make enough ingame money, you can spend it on game time codes...so you can play and earn enough in game, to pay for the game itself.
My friends and I are waiting for Spore, I downloaded the creature creator, it has been fun so far, but have to wait for the game to release.
If you like turn based strat...I also play Heroes of Might and Magic. and Medieval 2.
That's all I can think of atm for PC games.
Was a fan of NWN, never played 2...but they did well with the multiplayer.
Could check out World in Conflict

lol why dose it seem like a lot of people need something new to play because i am looking for a free MMO to play to but i cant find anything.
on to try and help u...
have u played WoW if no then go download a 10 day free trial from here
if that dosent help maybe punch your self in the head till you pass out and dont wake till D3 comes out :)

I have looked and looked, nothing holds my intrest, like say ummmmm D3 possibly would.

If your looking for an MMO then the only thing worth a look right now is Age of Conan. Its a power hog so your system needs to be able to handle it, the reason its such a power hog is because of the graphics, they are pretty darn nice. Its pay to play, dunno if thats out the question for you?
It's a new MMO so it has a fair few bugs and the endgame isnt finished but to be honest if you take your time enjoying the very well done questlines you wont be reaching end game anytime soon anyway, Ive been playing just a month and reached lvl 50 (80 is max), Ive had a whale of a time and getting lots of mileage out of it in fun terms.
you can fire any questions about it on the GA AoC forums.

The latest Prince Of Persia was quite good. PoP: The Two Thrones. I'd suggest you play Warrior Within before, since you already played SoT.
Also, there is nothing better than Quake 3: Arena. It owns.

I tried a lot of PC games and I really enjoy EVE Online :P
MMO, persistant, beautiful graphics...
Other than that, Starcraft 2 when it comes out!

wow...I'm seeing a lot of hype about D3. not just here in gameamp but everywhere. lol
i have more than enough monthly bills to pay so pay as you play MMO's are out of the question. sorry, i should have made that more clear.
I'll go out and buy TF2 and COD4. i also downloaded the PoP - Warrior within demo and so far I'm a little disappointed.
oh Requiem officially lunched? that was quick...I'll give that one more try.
