I know.. but no ones responding to it. Thats my problem.. I cant help but type alot when it comes to forums. I like to speak my mind. - Last time i posted something on another forum, i got yelled at cause what i posted was too long, and was too intimidating for people to read, so they just skipped over it =/

Okay okay! I kinda already made one and have been working on it briefly today. So far.. they seem rather intriguing =P Ill keep the topic up here then, i guess. Seeing as this is supposedly a "less intimidating topic" as it were. But, Ill definitely take the advice from someone whos been with a mesmer for that long. Im definitely looking forward to this.

Depends how good your guild/friends are to some extent, i know by now you've already made a mesmer, but figured i'd just add in why a dervish would be up your ally a bit.
1. if titles are what you're after, derv's run better and are generally seen as more survivable on the battle field.
2. derv's generally get grouped easier than mesmers do as they fill very common and simple rolls.
3. derv's generally deal much more DPS than a mesmer.
4. there are a lot more mesmer's out there with high title tracks compared to a derv, it'd be more rare to see a derv with "my guild hall smells of rich mahogany" than a mesmer with the same title.
i'm not saying one is better than the other, i have both, but based on exclusivity, i'd pick the derv to rack up titles with.

What kind of rolls are dervs best in? Cheese Roll, Cinnamon Roll, Egg Roll or some other roll?
Jarm, what are some fun PvE mesmer builds? I've always loved how versatile mesmers are but I've never been able to find a build I liked well enough to play my mesmer.

dreamy,,, dervish are nothing for front line, trust me I killed many in pvp and pve, do not try to dispute it just live with it, a mesmer that knows the profession can kill almost anything fast and easilly, you should know we partied together often enough
as for a fun built here is what I run on Jarmina most the time

dervs are a much better front line...
and also, my mesmer gets into loads of groups. one party invited me just because my mesmer 'looked cool'
and yeah, sig of illusion mesmers are fun as hell. you can run whatever crazy build you want with that on.

Hmm, I see much more mesmers with r5/r6 KoabD than I see derv's though.

It is not a dispute, it is a fact, Devs are much better front line that Mes.

Sure, a Mesmer can go far, but when you place Zealotry aside they can't hold the line, their good in their own way make no mistake, but there are classes which are to be put in seemingly logical locations, this is not a logical location.

Damn it meg you stole my joke Q.Q but yeah the only time a mesmer would ever come close to front line is to slap Illusionary weaponry on it and even then its a crappy frontliner
I believe what doesnt kill you only makes you STRANGER!!?

some other roll, you know, involving practical and useful gameplay.
about mesmer PvE builds... ineptitude (E) and clumsiness from illusion are a good 1-2 that's been well known for over 3 years, what you add in after that is really situational.

enough ppl have commented, and i know you're a good mesmer Jarm, but mesmers are definately not front line fighters... i've killed a lot of dervs (and even a lot of mesmers) in PvX with my ele too so maybe ele's are just as good as mesmers *wink* infact, i'm more worried to run into another ele in AB that running into a mesmer, being how the mesmer's built, they might not even be able to hurt me all that much, meaning, they'd be really dead, and i'd be near full health.
that something logical to live with =)
