Well I haven't posted in a long time and i was just thinking today, what you would want a MMO made of? Some of you might think ??? well like some i was thinking like a sim MMO (If you like the sims enough) or something like that.
Mine would be a COD4 type MMO or Army of Two where you get your own custom armor and Guns.
You don't need to relate it to any game.

Sims PvP: Lock your opponent in a shed and light it on fire using no cooking skills + barbeque!
You mean something like an online FPS? Tabula Rasa was like that, didn't really work out for the guy.

Sims was just the first thing I came up with. Lol the shed lockup that is a n00b only move I like the blowing up the toilet more.

Something like final fantasy (yes I know there is a FF mmorpg out but seriously wow, fail anyone?) with lineage 2 PvP system like castle seige open PvP etc. That would also require open areas, for the open PvP! I'd BASICALLY like a new mmorpg that has decent graphics, and is actually fun to play!!
Guild wars is seriously boring me right now, and I'm so....so amazingly picky when it comes to mmorpgs >.<

Try Mass Effect, its not online, but i did that and i liked Guild Wars after it too again.

hmmmm... a new MMPORG you say...
how baout...
Library Online:
The basic game is based around a city. And in this city people have the abilaty to create librarys sort of like a guild. you'll have to do favours and quests to get books and nice furniture. and when people join your library you can buy a building of your own (a guild hall).
for basic pve play you'll be running around your library, organizing books, stamping tickets, putting back used books. politely asking AI people that havent payed overdue fines etc. as you can get title like 'I have many leather bound books' once you accumilate a certain amount of rare books for your shelves.
for pvp play you go to another of the cities librarys and you both have to cover a section. one could be history, and one could be science. the idea to win a library battle is to disorganize as many books as you can and be as noisy as possible while other members are trying to read.
the more noise you make and the more books you disorganize, the harder it is for the opponents team to read. so the idea is to try and slow down the opponents learning curve. the first team to finish reading their books win.

My own idea: a bith more grim for the surrounding.
I mean, Ascalon was burned to the ground but I still think it's 'too colourfull'. If you catch my drift.
A more grim experience of the surrounding, like Gears of War or the future Call of Duty (5, not being made by Infinity Ward though.
As concept: Pigs vs. Others MMOFPS! (Big *wink* to Jagged Farm & S.W.I.N.E.!! =D)
1) Not enough MMOFPS's on the market (good/populated anyways)
2) Free to Play off course
3) Because nothing say's victory like the smell of torched/napalmed pigflesh in the morning!

my MMO would be a cross of different things...
all the best features from RS/Diablo 2/WoW and GW and place it in an environment like Elder Scrolls... oh and it'd definately need to be F2P.
the one thing i did like about RS is that you could do other things than just fight stuff, you could mine, craft, cut gems, make jewelry, go fishing, kill stuff, pvp...
i'd like a game that has those type of things in it, except with an amazing graphics engine.

They say hope can conquer impossible odds, you should bring in Obama atleast to aquire a pool of hope massive enough for this to happen.

It would be roughly like guild wars, except that:
1) PvE would play a secondary role to PvP
2) Skill balances would occur more often (once every 2 weeks)
3) there would be a WC each year
4) people from the top 5 guilds would be able to give feedback easily on problems with mechanics/skills so that the players have more of a say
5) there would be a mandatory IQ test upon account creation
6) the report system would be more fiddly so that people only bother to report for serious offences
7) there would be a built in VoIP and the manual would explain why VoIP is good.
8) the game would come with a mic
9) there would be no "events", aside from monthly tournaments and yearly WC's
10) observer mode would only feature WC QF, SF and F, and your own guild's matches from the last 24 hours.

Good, im tired of ''i wiel report u'' wimps, i'd also personally vote for a ''FINISH HIM'' move where you can kill the annoying person in question multiple times, preferably with crowd/audience support. Kinda like a Gladiator fight.

what about this one...
Fast Food Online
basically you play a guy who works behind a counter flipping burgers. other players can either be a) a customer, or b) a fellow worker.
basic pve play involves flipping burgers and making sure the general day to day running of your restaurant is maintained. you will be equipped with skills such as
Flip Burger: You flip your burger. For each rank in Buger Mastery you gain +1 Yum Point into your meal.
Spatchula of the Chosen: For 10 seconds you flip burgers twice as fast. But you become tired for 4 seconds after.
Loogie: You spit in the burger. This raises your self satisfaction for 5 seconds. You then suffer with worry for 1 minute after.
The idea is to keep your customers happy. You will be able to create your own resturaunt and recruit other players to work for you once you gain enough experience.
PvP play will consist of you and up to 100 other members flipping burgers simultaniously to get the most cash made within 10 minutes. the opponents can send their workers into your resturaunt and steal valuable flipping tools with skills such as:
Theive: You steal target foes spatchula. you run 50% slower for the next 3 seconds.
These skills will help you slow down your opponents burger flipping. but be careful. a lock down from the manager may result in you losing a team mate.

11) remove dishonor system
12) DP removes itself after 30mins
13) a counter which records how much damage you have done in pvp / how much hp you have healed someone
14) change functionality of poison tip signet to the following -> for next 1...3 attacks you apply poison for 3...19 seconds to shot arrows, 3/4 cast time
15) ursan skill -> once you activate this skill you automatically gain a title which cannot be removed and permanently shows the words I fail at PvE, please lol at me (1)
