Well no idea whether you guys know this, so it may be completely useless, but I only found this out today, so I thought I'd share it.
Basicly I was really annoyed at my attribute settings, as when I had started my character I spent lots of attributes on skills I later found to be of little help, such as perception, skulk and sprint cost (personally I don't think they're worth it, being barbarian I don't want to waste my stamina on sprinting) but today I found out by Alt clicking the attribute you can reset it to zero, and re-distribute the points. For me it was mucho usefull, I literally doubled my Recovery, Fast Recovery and Bandaging, which had a massive impact on my rest time. (At level 56 I only had 280 points in each, which really wasn't enough). I now concentrate solely on the recovery attributes as well as climbing and hiding.
Just thought I'd let anyone know who also was unaware of this, just hope I wasn't the only one who didn't notice it =).

Until level 40 (i think) its free to reset them; after that; you pay quiet a sum of money to reset them to '0' =)

My understanding is that until 190 points it is free to reset it to zero. But I might be behind the times on that.

Thanks for sharing :-)
As it happens I knew this trick, but it's always good to have them posted somewhere. Btw, when upping your skills, you can do a CTRL+click on the + or - to add/remove all your currently available attribute points to max out a skill or take back what you just added.
My L58 Barbarian divides her points over:
Health & Stamina Regen, Hide, Run Speed (capping at 300 though) and Perception.

Oh yeah... How did I manage to forget the bit about the cost, I kept on reminding myself to mention it when posting, I guess even that didn't work =) Phedres right, it's free up to resetting 190 points, then it seems to take quite a steep rise in price once you get into the higher points.

Something similar I recently discovered, then promptly forgot is how to split stacks.
Hold ALT while dragging your stack of say Health potions to another slot in your inventory. You'll get a pop-up window with a number field. That number is the amount of Potions in the new stack. Hnady if you want to hand out a Potion to a team-mate in a pinch but rather not give him/her all of your stash :-)

Awesome Lani, didn't know that. Maybe we can make a new sticky thread with little tips like this? Just with a list of tips but without discussions so that new players can look for advice maybe?

Meh I kinda like the discussion in between the tips. Stickied this thread as a result.
Once we got some more going, a Tips & tricks Article, Guide or frontpage might be more in order. In the mean-time we can
highlight the actual tips if we want.
Just not a fan of "do not discuss in this thread" threads you know. Once we go down that road I may not be allowed to derail a topic and that would make me a sad panda ;-)

Oki cool, I do also prefer the discussions but I just thought you would be more likely to make it sticky if it was just a to the point thread =). Much more fun with banter, and besides the "no banter" rule on the old post your picture thread on the guildwars side never lasted =)
