Recently the national discount chain, Big Lots, acquired a lot of old NCsoft stock (read: games). So, in case you're interested, this store has a number of CoH Special Edition DVDs, CoV Special Edition DVDs, and CoH/CoV Combo boxes (NOT the GvE Edition!) on their shelves. Aside from the 'extras' ingame and in the boxes; each of these provides the buyer with either the ability to register a new account with the first month paid for OR a month of game time if you UPGRADE your previously existing account with the code provided. So, what's so special about this? The price... $10 US! That's right. A five dollar savings right off the bat from your regular monthly fee plus the extras.

Actually, though I hate to waste the 'extras', I'm going to try and stack an extra DVD code. 6 bucks is 6 bucks.

So...if i understand correctly....we can purchase the DVD, extra stuff, etc. (even though we already have the game), upgrade our current account and get a month of free play (at a discounted price after purchase of said merchandise)...
If this is true, I may have to go by my nearest Big Lots today then...

I just found a Standard CoV Edition at Big Lots tonight... $4! A month of play for 4 bucks. Suh-weet!
