Ok, mids is a great program for city of. My question is, does a WoW version or simular program (not mids but something like it for WoW) exist? It really has nothing to do with city of, but the people here tend to be pretty helpful.

Not really. Yea, I mean more like an actul char maker. Of course, all hunters, pallys ect. always get the same moves at the same time, but its nice to figure it out like mids.

Oh, and by the way, do you need the expansion thingie to play WoW, cause I only have the normal version.

The more important question is.......why would you want to, lol. My daughter used to play it and it didn't even keep her attention, much less mine. I'll stick to CoX.

Best thing I can suggest Nate is to head over to WoW at GA. They may be able to handle your question much better than us ol Supes.
And you dont need WoW: BC to play. You can have only WoW but you will not be able to progress past level 60 or access the new territories. In addition to that, in a few months they will be adding in another expansion on top of WoW and WoW: BC which adds 10 more levels plus some other goodies. But like I said check out WoW Gameamp for more assistance.

Thx. I forgot theres a GA WoW site, sorry. Oh and Star Wolf, the reson is that for a unknown pain in the ass gremlin of something sudden ly caused 419mb of my pigg files to become damaged and now i have to 'fix' them with the updater. The shitty part is that I have dial up (laugh now) and a slow ass connection that gets intteruped everytime someone calls (too often). When I have to reset the heroes updater, it restarts the 'fixing' process. 30 hours+ with no interuppt is nigh impossable, espcially for a prob that apperred suddenly and for no reson a all (except that the queen fairie of tech decided she hates me now). It whould be faster to uninstall the game and reinstall it then do this shit (which whould take a week or two), so i figure mabye give the ol WoW a try and take a stomp-lord-recluse-into-the-ground-with-a-willpower-nrgy-tank-till-he-crys-and-dies-in-a-hole-that-i-piss-into-after-filling-it-with-acid-and-monkey-poop break.
I've tryed WoW trials and it was ok, not as good as City of but also diffrent, which can be good. By the way, if anyone knows a faster way to dl some city of or WoW patchs an shit it whould help.

Hey Nate...do you have CoH loaded on a desktop or laptop?...and some companies have some pretty cheap high speed internet deals.
If on a laptop...just head to a coffee house or internet cafe that has free WiFi and patch there.

If you have friends that have the game on their machine thats updated have them burn it to a DVD and copy the files over the ones in the city of heroes folder. Your gonna have the same situation with WoW that you have with CoX so what's the difference? Other than that, go with the internet cafe idea. Or a friends house that has broadband. For that matter someone here could probably burn you a copy and send it to you.

Thanks yall. Unfortunitly, its a tower comp, and a hunk of one too, so the internet cafe is out. The 'use someones' dsl is not a bad idea, but I may have a hard time getting it to work. In any case, the burn cd option is best and i used it often before, but the only friend i had who had the comp smarts to do it (and a reliable cd burner) is gone now so, it will take some doing. In anycase thx alot evrybody.

The reason your dial up gets discoed every time the phone rings is most likely due to having "Call waiting", you have a couple of options here. You can have the service removed if it isn't vital or purchase a line share device that would isolate your modem connection from the phone services such as \"The Stick\". Just a Thought. Also you may be able to find an inexpensive DSL Provider in your area, This site may get you going down the right path. Good Luck.

To be completely honest with you, if that's the case. Your not going to have very much fun with WoW. It's allready a very heavy internet sucker even on average internet. Not trying to change your mind or anything, just be ready for a lot of walls.
