The Chest Runners Thread

Hello, i saw one of these on guru and i thought i'd post one here. Post your chest running builds, and whatever areas you run along with what worthwhile items drop there, or how fast you can get title points if the drops arent worth it. Here are a few of mine

Port Sledge(NM or HM)
Build: VoS Derv, Most other running builds
Usefull Items: Elite tomes, occasional fellblade
Title Track:3-5 chests per run, 2-3 minute run

Dalada Uplands(usually NM)
Build:VoS, SF, or SB(need untargetable due to high amount of crip anguish enemies)
Usefull Items:Celestial Compass, Draconic Aegis, Pyroclastic Axe
Title Track: 2-3 Chests, 10-15 minute run

Hell's Precipice(NM or HM)
Build: VoS, SF, SB
Usefull Items: Fellblades, Magmas Shields
Title Track: Unsure, have only done this run a few times

Poisoned Outcrops(HM)
Build: Any
Usefull Items: Ele Swords, Elite Tomes, Ancient Scythes
Title Track: 4-5 Chests, 10-15 minutes

Also, i saw this build on guru for running with a */A

Death's Charge
Shadow Form
Dash
Dark Escape
Shadow of Haste

then fill in the last three skills based on your primary(heals for monk, Signet of Stamina for war, etc etc)

i have also seen death's retreat and ebon escape work very well in the above build

Basically I have a necro so chest running suck. I use the following

Dash (spam on recharge)
dark escape (only use to break aggro really)
Mindbender (33% speed boost)
Deaths Charge
Deadly Paradox
Shadow Form
I am Unstopable (no KD or crip from traps, signets or touch skills)
Shadow refuge (so you can get health back up quickly while w8ing for SF recharge

I run in:
Boreas Seabed
Jade weps, oni weps, naga shortbows
Title 2-4 chests
Time - 5-7 minutes

Dalada Uplands:
Have you got any of those drops I havent seen them and Ive run over 300 chestst there. I believe those are only rumors.
2-4 chests
5-10 minutes Depending on how far in you go.

Good time to work on drunk title get 5-7 points a run.

Mirror of Lyssa
serpentine reaver (rumor)
Chests 2-3
Time:5-10

i ran over 250 chests there. seen 3 chests all runs. NM that is.

Draconis aegis, Celestian compass And pyroclastic axe only drops from zaishen chest acording to wiki.Did you acutally get any of these items yourself?

Ran this awhile saw 3-5 chests mostly.

celestial compass, serpentine reaver and all those items that ppl say drom from the chests in those gwen areas is a lie. it's all from the zchest.

my warrior was r6 treasure hunter and i always kept swapping between :

outside cavalon (~5min run ~4 chests)

fow (if you're good at it it's big fun, i used to farm beach afterwards when everyone was dead)

outside port sledge (ocasionally, when i was bored of the rest)

post a pic of ur warrior, with the title screen open showing your r6, in FoW alive, with the beach farming build. and map (U) opened with entire FoW explored.

or it didn't happen. And no... I don't believe you. (yet) :)

i dont have the warrior anymore but ppl seen me with him..was like my first char..deleted a year ago or so. but i can repeat it all any time, pve is not hard buddy ;)

edit: idk what there u don't believe? the title is not hard to get and u can easily run through full fow with only 4 skills. i farmed beach(those wooden things with 2 elites not spiders with deadly riposte, riposte and something else)

Why would you delete it? Was that the only title u were working on?

Just time consuming and costly for that title.

Edit: Like 3 Million for the cheapest keys lowest end of tier 6. Like 6 million if u went just with keys at the cheapest allowed for the title, 600g.

i deleted because it was a male warrior, and i began to only like female wars..also because i made him extremely ugly and kept having to cover his head but ok. and the title came because i always ran together with friends who wanted the title, and it was easy money too (i was in the TLH when they held cavalon and had access to the merch) altho i never rly gotten anything too rare.

ive pulled 3 draconic aegis of different reqs from the uplands so i know they drop there, but i havent myself gotten a compass

HM and lockpicks, they may retain, you can sell the UNID golds, you can sell elite tomes.. so much you can do. I once bought 75 lockpicks, I managed to sell unids/elite tomes and rebuy keys again, I went from 75 to 125 lockpicks after 1000 opened chests.. It aint much, but it shows you can do it without needing much money. (I had r3 TH and r2 lucky by that time)

I know you can sell items that you get from chest, or you may get lock picks. I was just putting the total cost of just keys, since there is a huge variance of what "could" happen with lock picks, and what type of drops a player may get from the chest. Some players may come out ahead overall while getting to R7 while others may end up spending millions to get there. All in the luck of the player. That's why I just went with the total cost for the keys ONLY. I am sure by what I have heard (people on the site and some alliance mates) that with everything figured in, it really does not cost that much. Just saying if someone went went with keys only and have very poor luck it could be very costly.
