Not Bad, i like the Inverted effect, and how it is more blended as it goes out to the edge.

No offense, its simple, so i'l ask,
First time using GIMP?
You should really read some tutorials, image editing can be great fun, the only thing that makes most people quit is a learning curve, cause the program doesn't make things of how you imagine it, its not complete magic :P
Still, dont be afraid to experiment, use the ''undo'' feature alot, you can't really screw up, test it out, make a mess and see what gives good effects and mixes, get your own style.

If Forumite is right and it is your first time I still think you did a great job. Have never worked with GIMP before, but I wasn't able to pull something off like that with my first time photoshopping.
Would just like to give you one tip that my neighbour gave me the other day (he builds entire websites with templates, flash intro, etc.): Always try to use new techniqueswhen you make something.
I remembered that it was quite a while since I did any new tutorials with photoshop, so in my case it was a good tip =]
Hope to see some more in the future?

Buddy i think you just exceeded the limit of signature space, remove the Xfire, or the text and hope its not too big.
Also, i tried to say its great for a first time, but i thought i'd give some tips for improvement and outside feedback, besides, i wasn't saying it was bloody awful and it made my eyes bleed liquid hate.
