| New mobs in resource areas |
|
|

I haven't been playing much the past couple of weeks but I have noticed the new camps of lvl 80 demons in Poitain and the lvl 40+ spiders, has anyopne visited the other resource areas and discovered new mobs? I was dissapointed that the new mob camps in Poitain are all lvl 80, my lvl 61 isn't going to stand much chance confronting any of them, is it the same in the other resource areas?

I am already getting scared of the level 50+ bears in Lageish (sp?) Plains. So I am not sure if there are level 80 mobs as well, but I assume there are. With last week's patch they revamped the resource areas a bit based on player comments. The statement was something like "There are now more resources available throughout the zones, but you can expect dangerous wildlife if you go too far from the beaten track." I think it is pretty cool. It just means you'll have to be extra careful.

There are lvl 80 'Slitherers' (or something like that) which are big snakes with arms in Laceish, as I ran into a bunch yesterday with my 56 conq. They dismounted me, but I managed to run to safety, so at least those guys don't pursue you like the vanir, lol.

Yeah, I noticed this low-walled field full of succubi and wondered if maybe it were a dairy farm.
They were added to make resource areas more interesting to level 80 characters apparently. Bit of a pain really. I like the ambush mobs, but I was kinda cruising on autopilot through the zone when I accidentally ran into another mob of emotionally repressed succubi (i.e. they were NOT doing their job) so i think the real reason isn't to give bored L80's something other to do besides farming lowbie Blues in Elite zones, but to make bot-farming harder. Expect them to start roaming in a month or so.

I guess I was right to think those succulent demonettes were part of a farming process
This also explains that hot fix.

Welcome to GameAmp, LeoGrenado! You might want to try the tents in NE Lacheish Plains. I once went roaming around there, and noticed I could target those tents. As soon as I did that two elite warriors my level came storming out. They might have been Atzel. I don't know if they have any level ranges. I know I will never be able to kill an elite my level so I ran like a little girl and never went back.
