Yep, just get your Assassin to Kaineng Center and get the quest 'Sunspears in Cantha'
Of course youll have to play through some NF Missions before you get up into the Realm of Torment.
I feel stupid asking this, but Its always good to check, You do have Nightfall right?

You mean your Assassin is a Player VS Player character? If so he won't go anywhere, PvP characters can only do the Arena's in Unnamed Isles and Alliance Battles, that's it, you won't be able to do any of the storyline campaigns.
You unlock skills for a PvP character via Balthazar Faction you aquire in PvP arena's for killing opponents, 1000 Faction for a normal skill and 3000 for an Elite.
Don't forget about Runes & Inions.
