| are Widows any good for pvp if so any builds for it ? |

Hi all i just got my first lvl 50 villian on double xp weekend and have beeen playing my widow since shes lvl 32 and have chose the fort powerset for her build and im hoping she will rock in pvp so does anyone have any advice feedback or builds that i can follow to pvp in sirens call i have a respec so dont worry about what powers i have now because im planning on respecing thanx for replies and help xD

You'll need your mask presence power and both Stealth IOs for starters. After that, unless you're the worst build maker in the world, you're pretty much set. Just use the control powers that don't drop stealth. Then, once you've got the Victim pissing their pants and unable to do anything, just rain down a flurry Psionic damage onto them. Before you know it they'll drop and you'll net yourself some rep and whatever other reward the zone you're in gives you for a defeat.

Edit: I would like to note that Forts can't use any of their good powers in Siren's. They shine in RV at lvl 50 and sometimes in Warburg, but they aren't quite that good in Siren's. Night Widows generally have more luck in Siren's than Forts due to their extreme burst damage, but to each their own I suppose.

Forts trump widows for the most case, and some forts do alright in sirens, given that the Forts and Widows both have an insane amount of Defense, its common among pvp fortunatas to go 2 different ways in terms of builds, some i have known went with 2 of their claws powers, Lunge being your biggest melee attack that CAN crit and they also keep Follow Up and do a decent amount of burst damage or they forfeit the claws attacks to go with a more controllerish path, most commonly they go with the stalkerish build becuase Mask Presence provides more def to the build, all in all you go for Fortunata for PvP, a trick for slotting recharge in Mind Link is to slot Def/Recharge Set IOs get it down a bit if you didnt already know that trick.
(You cant use 2 stealth IOs just for the record, the stealth IOs are unikees, a nice way around that is the Base Buff machine thing and make the Stealth one)
Also a follow up question, theres a control power in the fort powers that doesnt drop stealth? Total Domination im guessing, am i correct or no?

Most of the confuse powers don't drop your stealth and I'm pretty sure there are a few others. I'll have to check next time I level.

yea my widow is 25 atm, been farming for money to IO out my toons for pvp so i dont get around to lvlin him often, and i know confuse doesnt suppress stealth, but ive been really wantin to look at total domination becuase it doesnt do any damage, and when im on my stalker none of the secondarys that dont do damage suppress (Namely Blinding Powder) so im curious to see how total dom works with stealth-hide-crit-thing
