I want to do some HM with my RT. Like Vanquishing and Hm missions.
My question is, what kind of build should i use? Like, should i use a support build, a damage build, or healing? You don't need to give me full builds, but if you want give me key skills, please do so =]
I was thinking about a support build myself. Since in Nm 100 lightning damage is usually reduced to 41. In Hm that will be even lower i think.

QFT
Just bring splinter and a-rage and cast it on as many physicals as possible.
Also PvE only skills are pretty nice and with Offering of Spirit+a spirit you should be able to pretty much cast them when you want.
Rit's also have two of the best hard resses in the game, death pact signet and flesh of my flesh. Bring one of those in case things go wrong.

ok, i made a simple but effective rit lord build. It works amazing.
Can somebody give me some tips for a good support build? like a good elite for a support build etc?

lol
maybe use echo to copy WoR
charge time is fairly slow but I use to copy WoR when I ran A-Mouth on my mesmer, and used it to support Johnny while testing the 55 built in Varesh HM
the rest of the skills should be pretty straigh forward

You could run a minion bomber build. I run it on my hero rit and I'd say it works just as good if not better than the sabway mm.
Also grasping was kuurong+earthbind is a pretty sick combo. If you arcane echo kuurong that's about 8 seconds of kd on a large mob. That's a lot of time to hurt a bunch of helpless foes. You can bring that splinter weapon and ancestors and deal a pretty decent amount of dmg.

xinraes weapon is pretty awesome in pve now if you want a resto rit, splinter/ancestor's is good damage and don't require a huge point investment so you can easily run them on a resto bar. Great dwarf weapon is useful on any caster bar adds huge damage to your physicals and knocks down the enemy its among the best pve skills in the game.
Xinrae, Mend Body and Soul, Spirit Light, Splinter, Ancestors, Kaolie, Life (or another spirit recovery and recup are decent choices), Flesh of my Flesh/Death Pact Signet. Ancestors can be swapped out for great dwarf if you can manage your energy ok.
If you have a lot of sins/wars/dervs strength of honor can be ran on a channeling bar with offering of spirit to keep your energy up.
Offering of spirit, Ancestors, Splinter, Strength of Honor, Smite Hex, Smite Condition, Deathpact/flesh, optional.
theres also the splinter/barrage rit which does good damage to grouped foes and can be handy if your team needs more direct damage.
communing spirit spammers aren't great in higher end places but they can be okay in the less difficult ones as long as they have summon spirits to get rid of their biggest handy cap, the huge cast time on spirits.
there are other builds too just remember to take advantage of the fact that rit skills are very effective with out devoting a huge amount of attributes so try not to focus on one thing.

Spirit spam isn't that great, except for a few of the missions where you camp an area and a ton of mobs walk up to you.
TBH I'd probably go with a general support build based around a few heals, Splinter Weapon, Ancestors Rage, Great Dwarf Weapon. Maybe with the elite being caretaker charge. Put Protective Was Kaolai on your bar too and you'll basically beat PvE no problem.

I run hero bars very similar to what I'd run if I had a human Rit, and the only thing I can think of that a Rit does that another class doesn't do better is party buffs.
Here's a build I run on a hero:
12 Smiting
14 Channeling
3 Restoration
Offering of Spirit, Ancestors Rage, Splinter Weapon, Smite Condition, Smite Hex, Bloodsong, Strength of Honor, Death Pact Signet.
For a human, you may want to consider speccing communing instead of smiting for things like brutal weapon and pain. But in reality, splinter weapon and ancestors rage are still the best things in PvE for a rit to have. Splinter weapon is like having a minion master but with no need for bodies.

On NM you can get away with it, but not for HM. 100% agree with you Rogue.
As far as other good builds CR and Rogue broke it down very well imo.
