hey guys i just got my sin to lvl 20 and i got him all decked out with perma sin armor and everything and i got the build for farming chaos planes. so after a few trys i make it all the way to chaos planes to try out the farming. now i killed most of the banished dream riders and all of their mindblade specters and i didnt get one ecto. now is that just a really unlucky first run or am i supposed to be farming the planes in hardmode or what? i havnt tried it again yet cause i dont want to waste my time unless it was just an unlucky run so if anyone knows what happed let me know.

As far as I know, ectos drop the same rate in NM as they do in HM.
It just sounds to me you were unlucky that run.

Very unlucky run as well. I have not had one of those in a very long time. I normally get 3-5 per run, with the exceptional 1-2 per run.
