Well, I finally got logged on this early morning. I created a necromancer (which I am thinking about second prof as an elemantalist.) It was fun running around, a little confusing at first but I am getting the hang of it. So how does everyone else enjoying it so far?

im completly addicted to it =), first couple of hours adn about to hit lvl 6, its pretty nice charming a lvl 5 pet as a ranger at lvl 1 =)

Nice, I am almost 6 now. I chose necro/elem. So far so good only thing I am lost on right now is gaining access to other and new spells other then my originals.

probably because u are in the newbie area, talk to sir tydus and he will send you to the future i think and thats where the real game begins.

Game is looking good, I'm taking my W/N through again... Out of pre-searing @ level 7 and a lot of things have changed since the beta. But overall, I love it so far. :)

Just past level 7 this morning when I over heard some people talking about the "real" game after talking to sir tyrus or whoever.... Before I go should I talk to anyone or get more spells un locked? i am Necro/elem and I have like 6 unlocked for necro and 6 unlocked for elem...
Side note if anyone has any exp... you think necro/elem is a good combo?

Get any and all quests that you can in the pre-searing Ascalon. You want to get as much XP and loot as you can before you move on.

get lots of crafting items, like tanned hides, they sell for 10+ each and are used for crafting 40 ac armor for my ranger. well all crafting items sell for alot in general. and i agree that gettign lots of exp is a good idea, hard for me to kill sometimes at lvl 7, 2 is do-able and i get slaughtered on 3 enemys, whehn i used to be able to take 7 or 8...in comparison thats how much harder it is

Alright, I am level 10 right now.. but I am still trying to figure out if my choice was a good one. I made a necro/elem. Which right now is alright but I use like a ton of necro spells and 2 Ele spells one that lets me cast spell with no energy and the other a Direct Damage or AoE. Do you think the combo is a good one? Like will it have a use in the wars PvP. Or should I be a necro and something else? I dont know what to do. I just dont want to be stuck with this guy if in the end he sucks. and un needed.

well my ranger elementalist uses 2 ele skills also, those 2 skills about double my damage output (was on pvp server with all skills unlocked). atm im lvl 9 and working on finding new towns and those 2 skills =).

So, how do you feel about necro's then? I can put out some spells and I think they are helping out but I am not sure. Seems like necros are more about self. I need to find a bigger site about necros to talk with them, mainly so I can quit harrassing you! :-)

Sjaak --> Meleandru's Stalker lvl 16
Kitabatake Tomomori --> Ran lvl 5
Yay our first lvl 20 guild member ;)
Current Guild: HoeR -> Heroes of enchanted Realms
Hoer is also a Dutch word, try figuring out what that means XD

Necro's have very nice offensive skills. I'm a 18 War/Nec and I have to say, vampiric line rocks. Your disease dot's are very very nice too. I usually put up vampiric gaze, vampiric touch (about 125 damage to opponent and healed for the same, 25 mana), and my fave, Rotting Flesh(dot, mine lasts about 20 seconds). The rest of my skills are warrior based with res signet. ATM, 3 outta my 4 characters have a necro in one of the classes. Depends on how you want to play :)

I always thought necro was almost the same as a mesmer. Mesmers dont have serious offencive skills, but they are very annoying. When you see the energy burn on a necro, you can undo that with spells like: Ether Feast and Channeling. I never started that combo becouse i thought that neither have real offencive skills. I guess now i know what class my second char is going to be.
