Last night my friend and I (lvl 37 healer and lvl 39 fire tanker) were headed to our favorite mobbin area in Crey's Folly. We made our way around the northern bend and right in front of us was this massive rock-like creature. He was the Devouring Earth creature named Jurassik. So we did what anyone else would do....We attacked! But alas, our attacks just weren't hurtin enough so I put out a tell on broadcast for some help. No answer. So we kept plugging away when finally a lvl 40 Dark scrapper came and joined the foray. Then a lvl 32 scrapper also came and helped, and with a SK he was in the action. After a few minutes, Jurassik's HP started dropping more and more and before we knew it, he was toast. "Badge Earned" popped up and I looked to see the badge. Our reward was The Solution Badge, how sweet! Another day, another badge.

Very cool!! I have yet to run into Jurassic in CF, I did face him as an AV, but, you don't get the badge for that.

Congrats on the badge, I wonder if they increased the monster spawns. I found Paladin build in KR last week but haven't once see him in the many months since release. I have Triumph Watch up which is a global channel for monsters on Triumph and have only seen once broadcast of Paladin and I have been on that channel for a month now. I need to go to CF and look for ol Jurrasik!

It would seem the spawn rate is higher as I have fought Luska, Paladin, the Ghost Ship several times, and Jurassik in one week. Coincedence, I think not. Hopefully, they can adjust for the lag when these creatures appear.

Speaking of hunting giant monsters:
I finally saw Kraken last week, but I couldn't round up a crew to take him down and one controller just won't cut the mustard! By the time I could talk anyone into coming the stupid Kraken was gone and we had to do something else.
These things just don't spawn enough!
