Word up! Unfortunately I'll be of NO worth in this forum as I've never played a Kheldian. I suffer from a terrible affliction known as altoholism. It's the inability to level any character past 25 because you have a compulsion to create more character concepts. It's often coupled by not having any free slots on your home server and migrating to other servers to fill your need...like Triumph...Virtue...Victory...

At any rate...sometime in 2008, I should have a L50. :)

well right now I've got Topaz Gypsy (my WS) in a SG with another PB... who's a high lvl... so soon I'll be able to get info on both.

I'll send all the right ppl what I do get... *mutters* how did I end up in charge of this again??? Stupid lvl 50 anyway *sigh*

of course I will help out too...only have PB who is lvl 9...will be glad to help out where I can.
One thing that may help: I have found that some teams you are on may not understand just how deadly a quantum is to our kind....it helps to educate as soon as you join the team. the first time I did not and ate carpet fast, while everyone was asking "what was that?" I learned to just give a heads up "please when you see the quantum Get Him Down!!!"
Oh Ron I am a little like you I have a bunch of alts but concentrating on Whym for awhile was worth every minute. KLed's satisfy the need for for something different.

I got my warshade up to lvl 9 last night THEY ROCK!! 'N SNIFF is the coolest ever (I play with another warshade that named himself SCRATCH) They r cool...and yes QUANTUMS SUCK...but the uder-blaster part is awesome! I'm gonna play my PB tonight...but if it's anything like the WS getting to 50 is worth all the hours (and let me tell you I looked and I had a lota hours put into ice)

yeah Sapph had a lot of hours on her, Topaz is kind of sucking right now because I skipped getting the toxic resistant shield, and well against Vazh... I spend a lot of time in the diry. But she's almost lvl 20, so I'll get my Dwarf soon.

Being in a good team helps, it also teaches you to chekc out a mob before you go head long into them cause... oops, quantum, void... dwarf or nove just hanging around there. And BTW those NPC Nova's and Dwarfs... they'll kick your butt. :)

sapphire and/or rise or anyone else with khelds....How did you guys slot your powers ....did you put extra slots in your squiud form or human form? There are just to many powers to choose from where to put slots!

In my ws I have 3 To-Hit Buffs and 3 Endurance Recovery in my Nova. I am able to consistanty hit lvl+4s and with some wise use of my powers (not using my AoE every second) I rarely run out of endurance.

I personally put more slots on my normal powers since I would be in that form more often (indoor mission and such.) I did put a few slots on my bigger Nova powers though because they do good damage to a few targets. Another thing to keep in mind is the powers you get in human form don't carry over to Nova or Dwarf...meaning Hasten...stamina...health won't cross over. Although Nova has a built in stamina buff I think. I'm still kinda new to the warshade/peacebringer but I hope this helps a little.

From what I'm gathering about Khelds, it might be best to kind of focus on one aspect rather than trying to be a "jack of all trades". Basically, if you balance out your powers and your slots, you're going to be grossly underpowered.

the rule I've come across for them is: No more than 4 slots in anyone power if you want to get them all and attempt to be a Jack of all trades. You DO have to focus on what you want to accomplish with them. DO you want to be an uber blaster in Nova form??? You want to play a tank most of the time? You want to stay in human form? Or do you want to be a shape shifter and constantly be all of them?

If you put any more than 4 slots on anything (except stamina) you'll never have enough for everything. The travel powers do well enough on their own, yes at higher lvls you may be a bit slower, but I'd rather have those slots for attack powers.

My Nova I slotted the actual from with 2 end recovery... but will give it no more than that. I've got 4 slots on my 2 most used nova attacks, and 3 on the others, and they'll get no more than that. HTe knockback and detonation do not recharge often enough for me to see putting 4 slots on them.

You have to realize when you're slotting that if you're gonna be a shape shifter, you'll have 4 more powers in Nova and 6 on Dwarf, on top of all the powers that you have in human form.

I'm telling you visit this site. It's got a hero builder that allows you to do the Kheldians, it gives you a real perspective on how few slots you do have for them :)

Thank you for the link. It takes a bit to get used to the setup but I like how it tells me when I can expect to get a power and all of its stats (way more than the game tells you).

Okay started my Khelds. I have mostly played the PB (still new) and just started the WS. There are so many "shineys" (distrating little things that grab my attention, that I have some questions.

I saw on my WS an inate powr that I guess I get later and that seems to be the one that gives you bonuses for grouping, when does that become active.

With the forms, the squid has (i think) 4 atttacks, there are no other attacks for that form that can be chosen later, right?

All Kheldians have that innate power that gives them a bonus when grouped. It only works when in Human form though. If you are in human forum you should see an extra icon (passive) and that will be that power (right click it for description).

As for the forms, Dark Nova and Bright Nova only get 4 attacks but they are powerful attacks. And the Tanke form, you get 6 powers. A taunt, teleport, heal and then 3 attackes I beleive (at least that is what the PB has). And yes those are the only powers you can use in those forms. But dont neglect your powers in Human form because there are some nice one in that form also.

Okay, I didn't see this in the powers. My PB picked up hover along the way, I was not paying attention to when this happened and I'm wondering when that happens since I'm sure the WS version of recall comes around the same time.

you get hover (recall friend) at lvl 10...quantum flight is reallly fast but huge endurance drain...need 3 slots to make it useable over long distances.

That power will never see 3 additional slots from me, seems like a waste when you can add them to your other AoE attacks and then be BOTZIN!

I have the one slot in it (friend of mine actually put 3) and i can go almost a mile with it on...so i only use it if im gettin pounded and need toget away.

Alright I have to confess I do not have a Kheldian, but I am really excited to getting one. Does anyone know which one is better?
And can anyone tell me how to fix those things on the bottom of your reply to topics?

The kheldians are definitely a fun chalenge to try your hand at... I did the Pb thing for a bit, till he was like level 13, then went the way of the WS. The damage you do in these epic AT's starts off as a barrage of 2-shotted mobs, then slowly you do less and less proportionately, meaning you have to decide the aim of your build (whether you will slot these blaster powers or focus on human form, etc.). I switched to WS because of the mires they have. These mires, one in dwarf and one in human, add to your own damage output while reducing enemies damage output. I'd rather have two powers to make me deal more damage than have to waste slots on it, due to the large number of powers you have to slot. Also, the WS seems more functional in Human form, with its pets, self-heals, unchain essence, and holds. The PB has been nerfified- its light form can no longer be perma..and that is the reason i began a PB in the first place, was that amazing form. So its way of the WS for me.
