A lot of gamers are awaiting the release of Battlefield 2 and up till now there was no release date for the full game nor demo. Scott Evans from EA has changed that now and has announced that the full game will be released on the 17th of june for the European gamers and on the 23th of june for the American gamers.
It has also been reported that the demo version, which will contain only one map, is to be expected on the 16th of june. The reason it will be released close to the full game release is due to the fact that it will be spread through gaming magazines.
The minimum system requirements are now also known and they are: 1.7Ghz, 512MB RAM and 128MB 3D (Nvidia 5700+ or ATI 8500+ are prefered). It might also be interesting to know that it is said that the game will only run on Windows XP and not on earlier versions for some wacky reason.
