What follows is pure satire; please take this as mere joking, nothing more, and nothing less. Interwoven throughout the satire are general rules that are real. You figure our the fake and real!
The reign of the kind, gallant, omnipotent, and wise Grifter0408 has descended upon you fair CoH Gameamp.com members. I am a just ruler but in turn aspect nothing but total obedience. As one of my 1st decrees as site manager I would like to lay some ground rules or some, oh, guiding principles lets say while I am here.
1) Yes my name is Grifter0408 is but please don't let that stop you from using other names, as followed:
Lord, Sire, His Regalness, or my personal favorite; His Righteous Overlord of Supremely Monarchy Leaderness.
But make up your own as we go! Be creative!
2) Involvement on this site is voluntary but please try to contribute in anyway possible. People who enjoy CoH make this site great and any input, topics, or news you can share will be enjoyed by all. Don't be afraid to come out of the shadows and join some of the more active members. You know who you are, Lord, Nak, Ron, Malic2001, and many others.
3) Whenever you see a post made by your Lord (refer to #1 for more info) you will be required to play the song, The Imperial March. If you don't have it, you are required to download or suffer the consquences. I really feel this song will set my tone, just imagine me walking down the hall flanked by my High Guard. Flowing cape, tiara...I mean a crown upon my brow! (consquences still under construction)
4) As thejeni did, I will too have an open door policy concerning anything you may have issues with, need help with, or just in general question. As far as I know I have no email but if somehting needs to be done through email then I will give you said address when needed. Don't be afraid to send me PM's but don't know influx me with questions on "why do the NPC's push me around? or "does Statesman wear underoos or boxers?".....Nakoma Im looking at you!
5) Don't be afraid to shower me in gifts for it will be the only shower I have taken in weeks. This site takes contstant vigilance, for I not have the time to pry my arse from my comfortable chair. I have servants waiting hand and foot upon me for all my needs, except the sponge bath. But like I said feel free to offer bribes and whatnot, for they may get you nowhere but possibly somewhere.
6) Lastly I decree, have fun on the site. Nothing really has changed on the site. This is still the same fun, relaxing CoH Gameamp.com that it was before. Be active on the forums; submit articles/ guides/ news/ screenshots; and just in general enjoy CoH. If anyone has any questions please as myself or any other staff member. Even the none staff members are great help. Many of you have great knowledge of the game.

Also I'd love to know if Statesman wears boxers or briefs... maybe he goes commando.... ooh... I digress.

I hold trademark rights to the title, "Lord." Many people, including your majesty, insist on using "Lord" as my first name, rather than "Xen." The use of "Lord" in your own title would create needless confusion.

Lord was merely an option, if need be we can have your get a totally new screen name. Sure you would have no credibility and all your past laborers would be for naught but I am willing to make that sacrifice.
