Re: trade skills

That is a very good question, because other professions get to specialize, I am at LvL 180 with Tailoring and I have no clue if we get to specialize or not. Will someone PLEASE enlighten us.

Tailoring is good for bags. That's about it - kinda like Leatherworking. It can be very profitable, but you'll find yourself most of the time using armor you find or buy rather than the stuff you can make. And enchanting is expensive. If you're pinching pennies, I wouldn't go for enchanting.

Re: trade skills

I have to agree that enchanting is expensive, I've found that I skimp on skill gains if I put the gold into enchanting, now since I have a few characters on the server I play I also eat the potential gold that I could get by sending green items and an occational blue to my enchanter to disenchant.

My enchanter is also a tailor, which can feed the green items that she makes for disenchanting for materials. This tended to allow a quick jump in skill as long as you have someone supply you with all the cloth you need.

I have a Paladin that's a smith and my Rogue is the LW. I find that I'll use some of my armor until I get a better drop, but for my hunter friend the scorpid scale armor seems to be quite good for him.

Re: trade skills

i only know that you can specialise in engineering(gnomish or goblin) blacksmithing(weapon(later swords maces or axes) or armor) and leatherworking(tribal elemental or dragonscale)
