We need some screenshot lub on the site. As you're out adventuring and you see something neat hit PRINT SCREEN and get a screenshot of it. If you have a graphics program such as Paint Shop Pro or Adobe Photoshop you can convert your picture to a jpg to upload to the site.
As a user of the site you can add content to the site without using email, just go to the section of your choice (in this case screenshots) and click on the Submit Image link in the mid right hand side above the content area.
When you upload a screenshot you'll be given some credibility. The more credibility means... the more chicks you get at family reunions!
So give us a hand and upload some screenshots, I'll approve em as soon as I see em.

Hey thanks mate (Catacombs Cathedral is one of my favourites too) glad to see someone like them!:) We need more people on this site though.. More people means more pretty screenies and more posts!! :D

I concur. And extend: I have to stretch my browser to over 1000px width to fully see any page of the site. Maybee is too much to ask, but I think the menus and the top could be shrinked a bit to get to 900px, or better, 800, easily achieved diminishing the minimum width of the content column (dictated by the header pics?), which would extend automatically as required, e.g. with screenshots.
Horizontal scrolling is not a big deal, but most people would like to live without it. And as a netecologist, I would like *every* web page under 800px. ;-)

This poster meant hiding the in-game UI when taking screenshots, which is doable by holding down Shift and Print Screen.

On Gameamp we're all about providing simple usability without detracting from the functionality of the site. While the corporate world revolves around the 740-790 maximum design width (dependent on browser) our designs cater more towards the gamer. The reason why most sites strive to fit within the 740-790 design width is because their demographic sits on store-bought computer resolutions of 800x600. Since we cater to the gamer, our demographic is more tech-savvy and the average gamer's resolution usually extends past 800x600. To better suit our audience we design with slightly higher resolutions in mind to give our users a more graphically enhanced site. We try to maintain somewhat un-cookie cutter site designs but usually this requires us to break the harsh 800x600 design boundaries.
I do apologize if the site does not fit well at the lower resolutions, we do try to aim for the 1024x768 resolution with the site designs. This does make me curious of how many of our users are on $500.00 video cards and sitting at 800x600 resolution on 17'+ monitors. Hmmm!

I usually browse the site on my laptop while I'm playing the game, or while I'm at work, where I don't have the advantage of my huge gaming monitor - so I do end up having to scroll sideways often. I'm sure a lot of people use the 2 computer set up. Usually I don't mind because the only important stuff on the right side of the screen is my user info, which I don't look at much anyway.
Just my 2 cents.

Ive got a bunch of screens... like 300 or sumthing so when i get the chance ill try to convert them to jpg. Im not sure what specific shots ur looking for so ill jsut send a whole plethora(woot woot vocabulary)
Edit: I was wondering do you need some pictures for the elite skills because i can get you at least 3-4 warrior eleite skill pictures. (Charge! Gladiators Defense and Battle rage.) Or if you dont want elite skill pictures... ill jsut send my regualr group of SS.

Yeah, anyway. I through in some shots in my gallery. There's evena a nifty pictur of a barrel. There are other, better ones too...i just like the barrel.

Ok how do you do screen shots without all the stuff on the screen and then get the stuff back? Like the players prof and lvl markers over their heads in towns....
what size do you want the jpg? This information would be nice.

I believe you push shift-print scrren to get rid of all the menus and things. As for the things over peoples heads, i got no idea. sometimes they're there, but sometimes they aren't.

Haha, I dont have that many screens though I will send in what I got :).
And about that interface question. A m8 of mine (which does not stop pressing printscreen :P) has no Interface in a screen standard, so maybe its somewhere in options.
Oh yeah and he was wondering how to get the UI back in screens.

I believe NoGame posted up their earlier on how to hide the UI by just, "holding Shift + pressing Print Screen" gl i havent tried it out yet myself so hope thats the thing.. :D

ok im having trouble uploading the images 2 this website.. heres my story..
i save all the images in paint at 640x480 (i passed that part)
and as a: JPEG (*.JPG;*.JPEG;*.JPE;*.JFIF) ..with no nudity or foul language.. and when i go to upload it it says "There was a problem with your Submission Image is not JPEG"
i dont understand the problem or how to fix it please help

Hmmm, try converting with another program. There are converters to be found online. Just google bmp2jpeg or something like that.

Having a prob uploading images "not a jpeg" issue with my posts. Well Im not that much of a noob so already covered different format types and different programs converting bmp to jpg and jpeg. The only thing left I can think of is are there any issues with customized firefox and uploading (guessing now lol)
Well not guessing anymore lol,,, loaded up Internet Explorer and the pics loaded first timeso will look into the FireFox probs when customized.
