once you have put a rune in armor, etc, can you take it out and use it again?

I *think* you can do it with an advanced salvage kit, but there might only be a chance of getting it back or something.

Yes, you can salvage runes back out of your armor with an expert salvage kit. There is a chance of failure though.

Only thing you can do is re-dye it or use a dye remover on it. You can't get that dye back once you've applied it.

How do you get the dye remover to work i used about 6 on some old armor and some very cheap dyes trying all different combinations of, selection and it all looked the same at the end, if any one could clear this up i would appreciate it

http://guildwars.gameamp.com/forum/showTopic/42994.php My guide to how dye remover works.
Also dye remover is generally useless, as if you dye armor yellow, or any color, you can just apply a new color, lets say green, right over it and it will be green. apply yellow over the green and you get yellow again. No need to remove previous dye.
the ONLY way to make a mixture is by applying a dye to another dye, then using the mix on your armor.

I kinda disagree with that when it comes to monk tatoo's. I have a dye mix that involes a blue + yellow + dye remover and it came out a very bright green, if you said about monk tatoo's is true than it should have been a darker green as it would have basically been Blue + yellow + blue.

I havent personally tested plain remover on tatoos, however the tatoos do seem to be a rather light blue when dyed blue.
maybe that could explain it.
Tatoos are one of the really odd armors when it comes to dye and mixes, but if you use remover on monk armor and it stays the same as dying it blue, then i would say blue + yellow + blue will be the same as blue + yellow + remover , or even remover + yellow + remover.
If you want to experiment on this subject I can provide some dye, I have close to 400 bottles of it :P
