i was just wondering, ranger dosen't deal the most damage outa the classes and is there enough energy to make Ranger/Elamentalist work? or is Ranger/Necro as good or even better combo.
I'm a noob (meaning im new, not crap :P) so any suggestion will be gold

Elementalist/Ranger has a big mp pool because of the special ability of a ele. But in this combo you wouldnt have expertise (witch i think you are going for). I have 50 mp and even i have sometimes trouble of running out. I think when you have 30 mp this wouldnt be nice because you be out in a sec.
The great skills of a ele all cost 15+ mp. You got glypf of lesser energy (-15 mp for a skill), but you can't use that much. Expertise of a ranger would crank that speed a litle bit up but i dont think it would crank it up enough.
Hero Amun Ra --> Ele/Ran lvl 17
Sjaak --> Meleandru's Stalker lvl 16
Kitabatake Tomomori --> Ran lvl 5

Hoer is also a Dutch word, try figuring out what that means XD

so wat do u think of Ranger/Mesmar. That would be an annoying player against monks and spell casters :P
If any good Ranger/Mesmar out there. could some psot a good set up, cause that will help alot

i played a ra/el throughout the beta. and i really never had a problem with the mana too much. expertise reduces mana spells take. furthermore, load up kindle,conjure flame,duelshot and be smackin them for about 60-100 ( the kindle and conjure flame damage is doubled cause duelshot). so i rly wasn't casting too many spells.
ranger necros i heard are very good in pvp. havent been able to make mine yet lol

Swamp_Fox, you obviously know wat your talking about. I am Ranger/Elamentalist, and I wanna find out the best skill set out if i am focusing on sniping with damage against single targets.
If u cant help me can u plz direct me 2 someone who can, or a link which could help me.

I play an R/E.. as for a skill set, what sort of damage are you looking to do?
I'm focusing on fire right now, and I love using a preperation like Kindle Arrows along with Dual shot, since you do extra fire damage on both shots.
Also I find that Flare is quick and cheap for a ranged fire based attack, and I like Immolate because it sets the target on fire (which is always fun :). I just got Fireball, so we'll see how that works out, but it seems promising.

I've been playing R/E since the beta, and I don't think I've ever run out of energy. Just get some druid's armor and youll be fine. Just make sure you get Inferno, considering how bad you would be in close combat.

another good ranger/ele combo
Faverable winds
conjore flame
Barrage
nice for groups
and in kindle arrow and duel shot to ur line up and u will be rakin in the kills
